*Text: Mark 16:15-20*

*Topic: The Anointing*

What is the anointing? It is the power or ability released from God to man to perform miracles, signs and wonders.
Anointing flows like a river, river flows from the top to the bottom.
Anointing flows from God the father, Jeremiah 32:27, the one whom nothing can be too hard for. It flows from God the father, to God the son, to God the Joly Spirit, Luke 4:16-21, Isaiah 61:1-3. God the father the one who can do all things anointed God the son. You will discover that according to Isaiah 9;6, the son is called wonderful which means full of wonders. He heals all those who came to HIM. Mathews 8:16, He even raised the dead, John 11:39-45. The anointing kept flowing down, from the son to His representatives, Mark 3;13-15, Mathew 10:40, John 14:12. The anointing flows from God the father to God the son and from God the son to the disciples and from the disciples to the believers, Mark 16:17-18. The anointing can reach you, when the anointing reaches you, you can do all things, Mark 9:23, including Moving mountains, Mark 11:22-23.

The anointing is not to stop with you, you must allow the anointing to flow on through you, Acts 1:8. The same Holy Spirit that fell on the day of Pentecost is that same anointing that is in you since the day you gave your life to Christ, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:4.

When that anointing reaches you, put it to work and it will amaze you what will happen. Acts 3:1-8.

What can stop the flow?
1. Doubt ; if you have any doubt in your mind, that can stop the anointing, Mark 11:23. You must not doubt. The devil may try to convince you, tell the devil what he will do when you pray for the sick and the sick get healed. Who are you going to believe, the devil or God.

As announced by our beloved and esteemed father in the Lord Daddy G.O during his Easter Sunday sermon.

To have access to your own money in the bank, you have to take the forbidden mark on your forehead or where ever the beast may choose. By this time you have forfeited your freedom to move. Connect the present with the future. Imagine you woke up this morning & you heard a worrisome news that yesterday night some" people" were engaged in a "night shift" flight and these body of people suddenly disappeared from this earth. What does that suggest to you? The rapture has taken place? You have been left behind? The stage for the tribulation is set? What next? What is going to be your response? All that is happening now is a replica or almost a replica of what the Bible has predicted that will happen. Beloved, take it or leave it, the stage is set for the rapture, tribulation & the second coming of Jesus Christ. If you wake up this morning & the order is for you to take the mark of the beast, will you weep bitterly & say but I was told but refused to heed the warning? Oh, had I known? Have you been living your life in conformity with the Word of God? Are you living in the consciousness that in the light of what is happening now, the stage is set for the "New World Order." The rapture can take place anytime from now, the tribulation can set in & Jesus can come now. Are you prepared for this? The coming of the Son of Man shall be like a thief in the night. Repent and be converted now so that the time of refreshing can come from the presence of the Lord. Are you born again? Are you living your life to please God? Beloved, we bless the name of the Lord for a time like this. The period calls for sober ref lection. The situation in which we have found ourselves is with attendant consequences & lessons to learn. At this period, no more excuses of I can't come for midweek service, my work is so tedious. Sorry I was held up in the traffic for three hours, so I can't come to church because I'm tired. Are we now making use of this opportunity now to rectify the wrongs & inadequacies of the past? Have you read your Bible today? Have you prayed today? The Word that you read if at all. Have you made time out to meditated on it? This tells us there is time for everything. You can't rob Peter to pay Paul. Give to Ceaser what is Ceaser & give to God what is God's. If you don't leave work, work will one day leave you. At least if mountain can't go to Mohammed, Mohammed should go the the mountain. The COVID -19 virus has sealed us at home with the " stay at home" order. The people that defied the order to stay at home and went to Lagos yesterday were made to do frog jump & beaten mercilessly. In the Northern part of the country, those who went to bank were turned back home & they could not have access to their money. All over the world today, the order is "stay at home"- the "New World Order. Close your eyes,, take a deep breath, meditated on the Word of God if you are conversant with it, in the light of what is happening to our world today. The Bible talks about a "new world order"where believers will go into hiding from the powers that be at that time. If you have money, you can't purchase with your money andyou can't sell. You are not free to move about without harassment from the new world order if you don't take the mark of the beast.

What God expects sinners to do:
1. Come to repentance for all the evils you have done. Ezekiel 33:11; 2 Peter 3:9
2. Confess all the evils to the LORD. I John 1:9; James 5:16
3. Ask for forgiveness for all you have done wrongly. Heb. 4:16
4. Ask for the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse your sin Rom. 3:25; Eph. 2:13
5. Ask God to save your soul Rom. 10:10; Acts 4: 10-12.
6. Ask God to write your name in the book of life. Rev. 3:5; Rev. 20:15; Phil. 4:3.
7. Ask God for grace to obey and do all His commandments. James 1:22
8. Ask God for the grace to become joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Rom. 8:15-17

Conclusion:
There's no better time to be reminded and equally be warned that God Almighty Who is the Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him is coming quickly with His loads of rewards to give unto everyone according to his or her works. Rev. 22:12.

Prayers:
1. Father, thank you for reminding us of your coming.
2. Father, please give me the grace to remain steadfast in my walking and working with you till my last breathe
3. Father please uphold me to the end and let me make heaven.

DIGGING DEEP- 31 March, 2020

Topic: The end time - Part 1

Text: Revelation 22: 7-15
Introduction:
The end time is closer than we are expecting. Because God loves us, He doesn't want us to perish - John 3:16.

Out of God's love, He created us in His image. When we missed it in the garden of Eden, He gave us another opportunity by redeeming us through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

The LORD wants us to be conscious of the fact that there's a reward for whatever we do here on earth. Also, whatever we do here on earth will determine where eventually we are going to spend our eternity- Heaven or hell.

Consequently, for those of us who care to listen, the LORD is daily preparing us for eternity with him. For the disobedients, there's punishment and a place for them in hell fire - Rev. 21:5-8.

I pray that we will not end in hell fire in Jesus name. Amen.

What does God expect from the Believers?
1. Continue to be steadfast in our Christian journey. Heb. 10:25
2. Be conscious always that since the end is near, the devil will intensify efforts to ensure that majority of the Believers backslide and end up in hell fire - I Peter 5:8.
3. Hold God's word in high esteem and be rest assured that none will go unfulfilled. 2 Tim.2:15.
4. Know that whatever pain or sacrifice we pay for being His followers or children, there's a bountiful reward for us - Matt. 16:22; Luke 6:23, Rev. 22:12.
5. Heaven is where we shall spend our eternity. Rev. 3:5.
