NUGGETS 106:

FULL DISCLOSURE OF THE MIRACLE OF PASSOVER (2)

In our last conversation, we established that
what really happened at the Passover was a shadow of a future event which is the Cross.
And also, that same way the blood on the doorpost procured innocence and holiness for all within that house, so also the blood of the true Lamb of God hath procured eternal innocence and holiness for those who are the called in Christ Jesus.

The second signification from the Passover is the eating of the whole body of the lamb that very night. None was to be left over.

Exodus 12:10
"And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire".

This part represented the body of Christ Jesus which should in the future be broken for the remission of Sin, and the healing of the body.
Jesus said:
"For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him". (John 6:55-56)

By that meal of the Passover Lamb, they obtained a
divine healing miracle to last them the entire journey, except for the plagues of serpents which was a result of a rebellion.

Bible records that there was a miracle of divine healing, and that there was none feeble among the 'Church in the Wilderness'.

Psalm 105:37
"He brought them forth also with silver and gold: And there was not one feeble person among their tribes".

FULL DISCLOSURE ON THE MIRACLE OF PASSOVER:

1 Cor 5:7-8 TPT

"So remove every trace of your “leaven” of compromise with sin so that you might become new and pure again. For indeed, you are clean because Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.

So now we can celebrate our continual feast, not with the old “leaven,” the yeast of wickedness or bitterness, but we will feast on the freshly baked bread of innocence and holiness".

Perhaps, the most significant display of the love of God in human history other than the "death- burial - and- resurrection of Christ", is the "Passover".

That is why it is still celebrated in many quarters today. And even Christ himself in his earthly ministry celebrated the Passover with his disciples.

But what really was the Passover? A real event ?, or a shadow of a future event?

Our opening text alludes to the later.
The opening text says the passover Lamb is Christ himself, which means that lamb killed in Egypt was a mere symbol, and the original passover event, a mere shafow of the real event which is the Cross.

So for full disclosure, let us look at the signification ( potential interpretation) of this event.

First, the 'Blood on the doorpost and lintel'.
This was a mark of separation.
A sanctification, if you like, of the chosen people of God.

This same separation or sanctification is fulfilled today in them who are born-again by the seal of the HolyGhost put upon us.

Ephesians 4:30
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption".

As the blood on the doorpost exempted the Israelites from the plague of death, so also the Spirit of Christ indwelling the believer exempts them from the 2nd death.
For as the blood on the doorpost procured innocence and holiness for all within that house, so the blood of the true Lamb of God hath procured eternal innocence and holiness for those who are the called in Christ Jesus.
As all inside those houses weren't afraid, neither should we.

AT CHRISTMAS WE CELEBRATE🎈🙏

JUST WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO YOU?

A time of family gathering? Good.

A time of shopping and festivity?

Yeah, not quite.

Christmas is un-believably about one thing, and the most important thing at that:
Sin.

Man sinned and became subject to death and constant fear of death.

BUT GOD INTERVENED.

At Christmas we celebrate what the angel said unto the shepherds:

Luke 2:10-11
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord".

Your best celebration of Christmas is to receive God's special gift- which is salvation of the souls of men.

Jesus has been offered to us. In him is light, in him alone is salvation.
