WHO IS THE MAN JESUS?
Jesus is the son of God, the first begotten of God, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". Jesus is the Father's Glory, He is the light of Heaven, Rev 20:23 "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof." Jesus is the mediator between God and men, 1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is only one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". Jesus is the only one who reconciles men to God, who makes friendship and peace between God and men. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6) man is doomed without Jesus, there is no salvation in any other.
Jesus, the expression of the Love of God. While He walked on the face of the earth was never afraid, NO. He broke many natural laws, even nature couldnt limit Him. He walked on water but He was not a ghost, even the wind obeyed Him. How can we describe Him? He opened blind eyes, He unstopped deaf ears, raised the dead, fed over five thousand people with just 5 loaves of bread of 2 fishes, He was restoring hope, changing lives, healing the sick, He was everything God ever wanted man to be. When He spoke people were amazed, they said "Is this not the son of Joseph and Mary?" they thought "he didnt go to school, so how come he speaks with such intelligence and wisdom?". Jesus was so conscious of where He was from, He said " For I came down from heaven, not to do my will but the will of Him that sent me" (John 6:38) In another place He said " though im in this world, I am not of this world". He was so heaven conscious though He walked on the earth. Jesus even unto death was still humble, fearless and full of love!. Jesus was the payment of the sins of the whole world, right on the cross He became sin for us, 2 Cor 5:21 "For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" Right there on the cross the sins of the whole world were laid on Jesus. Man had sinned and he couldnt pay the penalty. He needed someone to pay for Him. And God had declared that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins (Leviticus 17:11) man needed divine blood for the remission of his sins. In answer to man's need, God gave His son (Romans 4:25), who tasted death for everyone, so we no longer would be under the bo***ge of the fear of death. On the third day Jesus was raised up from the dead by the Spirit of God for our justification. It is a thing of great Joy that He died for us because the claims of justice had been fulfilled and He was raised up from the dead, we were justified, declared not guilty!.
