REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD — THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD

A Powerful Friday Sermon for Faith Uncovered

Main Scripture: Hebrews 12:24
Supporting Scriptures: Revelation 12:11, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:18–19, Colossians 1:13–14, Romans 8:1, John 19:30

🔥 OPENING — THE BLOOD HAS THE FINAL WORD

There are voices speaking over your life.

The voice of your past.

The voice of fear.

The voice of failure.

The voice of rejection.

The voice of condemnation.

The voice of people who told you that you would never become anything.

And sometimes, there is a voice inside your own mind saying:

“You have gone too far.”

“God cannot forgive you.”

“Your situation will never change.”

“Your family will always suffer.”

“Your past has disqualified you.”

But tonight, I came with a message from the Word of God:

THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD!

People may have a word about you.

Your past may have a story about you.

Your mistakes may have a record against you.

But when you come under the grace of Jesus Christ, the blood speaks a better word.

Hebrews 12:24 says:

«“...to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”»

The blood speaks.

And what does it speak?

It speaks mercy.

It speaks forgiveness.

It speaks redemption.

It speaks freedom.

It speaks restoration.

It speaks grace.

And most importantly:

It speaks that Jesus has paid the price.

1. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE REDEEMED?

Ephesians 1:7 says:

«“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.”»

Redemption means that Jesus paid the price to set us free.

You were not redeemed because you were perfect.

You were not redeemed because you earned it.

You were redeemed because Jesus paid the price.

The cross was not an accident.

The blood was not meaningless.

Jesus willingly gave Himself for us.

1 Peter 1:18–19 says that we were redeemed not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ.

Think about that.

Your salvation was not purchased with money.

It was purchased with blood.

The blood of Jesus.

That means your value is not determined by your past.

Your value is not determined by what people say about you.

Your value is not determined by your failures.

You belong to Christ.

2. THE BLOOD SPEAKS FORGIVENESS

Maybe you're watching this and thinking:

“Pastor, you don't know what I've done.”

You're right.

I don't know everything you've done.

But I know something greater.

Jesus knows.

And He still went to the cross.

Romans 8:1 says:

«“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”»

The enemy wants to keep reminding you of your past.

But God wants you to understand His grace.

There is a difference between conviction and condemnation.

Conviction brings you back to God.

Condemnation tells you to run away from God.

Conviction says:

“Come back and repent.”

Condemnation says:

“You are finished.”

But the blood of Jesus says:

“There is forgiveness.”

3. THE BLOOD SPEAKS WHEN YOUR PAST ACCUSES YOU

Imagine someone standing in a courtroom.

The evidence is presented.

The accusations are read.

The mistakes are exposed.

And the person has nothing to say.

Then suddenly, someone steps forward and says:

“I have already paid the price.”

That is what Jesus did at Calvary.

Our sin had a price.

But Jesus paid it.

The cross became the place where mercy met justice.

And Jesus declared in John 19:30:

«“It is finished.”»

Not:

“It is almost finished.”

Not:

“I will finish it later.”

It is finished.

The payment was made.

The price was paid.

The work was completed.

And because Christ finished the work, you don't have to spend your life trying to earn what Jesus already purchased.

4. THE BLOOD SPEAKS WHEN THE ENEMY ACCUSES YOU

Revelation 12:11 says:

«“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”»

Notice the phrase:

“The blood of the Lamb.”

The victory of God's people is connected to what Christ has done.

The enemy may accuse you.

He may remind you of yesterday.

He may whisper:

“Look at your mistakes.”

But your answer is not:

“I'm perfect.”

Your answer is:

“Jesus paid for me.”

Your confidence is not in your goodness.

Your confidence is in His finished work.

---

5. THE BLOOD SPEAKS A BETTER WORD

Hebrews 12:24 tells us that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word.

That means the final word doesn't belong to your past.

The final word doesn't belong to your enemies.

The final word doesn't belong to your failures.

The final word doesn't belong to fear.

The final word belongs to Jesus.

Your past says:

“Guilty.”

The blood says:

“Forgiven.”

Your past says:

“Rejected.”

The blood says:

“Accepted in Christ.”

Your past says:

“Finished.”

The blood says:

“There is still purpose.”

Your fear says:

“You won't make it.”

The Word of God says:

“My grace is sufficient for you.”

Your situation says:

“It's impossible.”

Jesus says:

“With God all things are possible.”

6. THE BLOOD BRINGS US OUT OF DARKNESS

Colossians 1:13–14 says that God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His Son, in whom we have redemption and forgiveness.

Jesus doesn't simply forgive you.

He calls you into a new life.

You don't have to remain chained to the person you used to be.

You don't have to remain trapped in yesterday.

You don't have to keep returning to the same darkness.

Grace gives you a new beginning.

The blood doesn't give us permission to continue in sin.

The blood gives us the opportunity to walk in freedom.

7. YOUR TESTIMONY WILL BE GREATER THAN YOUR TRIAL

Maybe right now you're going through something difficult.

Maybe you're crying privately.

Maybe people don't know what you're carrying.

Maybe you're fighting a battle that nobody can see.

But don't assume that your current chapter is the end of your story.

Joseph had a pit.

David had a wilderness.

Moses had a desert.

Job had suffering.

Peter had failure.

Paul had persecution.

But God wasn't finished.

And God is not finished with you.

Your trial may be real.

Your pain may be real.

But so is God's grace.

So is His mercy.

So is His power.

And so is His ability to redeem.

---

8. STOP LETTING PEOPLE DEFINE YOU

There will always be people who remember who you used to be.

They may say:

“I remember what you did.”

“I remember your mistakes.”

“I remember when you failed.”

But you don't have to live according to someone else's version of your story.

If Jesus has redeemed you, your identity is now found in Him.

People may know your history.

But God knows your destiny.

People may remember your failure.

God sees your future.

People may remember your worst moment.

God sees what His grace can make you become.

The blood has the final word.

9. THE BLOOD DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL NEVER FACE TROUBLE

We must understand this correctly.

Being redeemed by Jesus does not mean you will never experience difficulties.

Jesus Himself said His followers would face trouble in this world.

Christian faith is not a promise that you will never have storms.

It is the promise that you will never face them alone.

The blood doesn't mean there will never be a battle.

It means the battle does not have the final word.

The blood doesn't mean you will never cry.

It means your tears are not the end of your story.

The blood doesn't mean you will never experience rejection.

It means rejection doesn't determine your worth.

The blood doesn't mean everything will always be easy.

It means Christ remains faithful through it all.

---

10. THE CROSS CHANGED EVERYTHING

Go back to Calvary.

Look at Jesus.

He was wounded.

He was rejected.

He was mocked.

He was crucified.

But what looked like defeat became the place of victory.

The cross looked like the end.

But resurrection was coming.

And maybe your current situation looks like the end.

Maybe you don't see a way forward.

Maybe you think the story is finished.

But remember the cross.

Friday looked like death.

Sunday brought resurrection.

Your Friday is not necessarily your forever.

God can bring resurrection into places that look dead.

🙏 POWERFUL PRAYER — THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD

If you're watching this right now, wherever you are, I want you to pray with me.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ,

I thank You for the precious blood of Jesus.

Thank You for sending Your Son to die for me.

Thank You for the cross.

Thank You for Your mercy.

Thank You for Your grace.

Lord, I confess my sins before You.

Forgive me.

Cleanse me.

Restore me.

Help me to walk in obedience to Your Word.

Father, I refuse to allow my past to define my future.

I refuse to live under condemnation.

I receive Your forgiveness.

I receive Your grace.

I receive Your mercy.

Where the enemy has spoken fear, let Your Word speak faith.

Where the enemy has spoken condemnation, let Your grace speak forgiveness.

Where the enemy has spoken failure, let Your Spirit remind me that You are still working in my life.

Lord Jesus, I place my life in Your hands.

My family.

My future.

My dreams.

My struggles.

My weaknesses.

My fears.

My failures.

Everything belongs to You.

Let the finished work of Christ speak over my life.

Let Your Word speak louder than my circumstances.

Let Your grace speak louder than my past.

Let Your mercy speak louder than my mistakes.

And when the enemy accuses me, remind me that Jesus has already paid the price.

The blood has spoken.

The blood speaks mercy.

The blood speaks redemption.

The blood speaks forgiveness.

The blood speaks freedom.

And today I declare:

JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD!

In Jesus' mighty name,

Amen!

🔥 DECLARATION OF FAITH

I want you to say this with faith:

I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

I am forgiven by the grace of God.

My past does not control my future.

My mistakes do not cancel God's purpose.

I will not live under condemnation.

I belong to Jesus Christ.

The enemy does not have the final word.

Fear does not have the final word.

Failure does not have the final word.

My past does not have the final word.

My circumstances do not have the final word.

JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD!

Amen!

❤️ CLOSING MESSAGE

My friend, if this message has spoken to your heart, remember this:

You may have a past.

You may have made mistakes.

You may have experienced rejection.

You may be walking through a difficult season.

But don't allow your present circumstances to make you forget what Jesus has already done.

The cross is still powerful.

The blood of Jesus still speaks of redemption.

And God's grace is still available.

So when condemnation speaks:

Remember the blood.

When fear speaks:

Remember the blood.

When your past speaks:

Remember the blood.

When the enemy says you're finished:

Remember the cross.

Because there is one voice that stands above every other voice.

And that voice says:

IT IS FINISHED.

Jesus paid the price.

Jesus made the way.

Jesus is our Redeemer.

And ultimately—

THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD.
