From the warm welcome at the doors to high praise and worship, today was truly unforgettable.

The choir deeply moved our hearts with their ministration, "The Day of Accountability," reminding us to live intentionally for God.

Then, we were anchored in the Word with a powerful message on Waiting on the Lord, learning that when we pair our waiting with unwavering faith and prayer, joy is guaranteed in the morning.

Sermon Topic: Waiting up on the lord in faith and prayer

Bible text: Hebrews 11:1, Psalm 30:5,Psalm 89:33, Numbers 23:19.

Preacher: Pastor Joel Alade

1. Waiting on the Lord means waiting upon His word with the absolute expectation that nothing will be missing and that you will receive something good from Him.
2. As we wait upon Him, our faith and prayer must never be put aside, because failing to have faith or prayer means we fail to achieve anything from God.
3. If you believe, your waiting cannot be in vain; be sure that joy comes in the morning, even if weeping endures for a night.
4. Whosoever fails to continue in faith and prayer without perseverance will miss out on the promise of God.
5. We must cry unto God without being weary and must not complain in the presence of God, because complaining gives the enemy a chance to operate in our lives.
6. God is not a man that He should lie, and His covenant will not fail for those who wait and do not cease in praying.
7. God knows how to reward those who wait patiently on Him.
8. In 1 Samuel 1, despite her bitterness of heart, Hannah never complained but prayed unto the Lord instead of letting negative words take over.
9. Make your faith strong while waiting on the Lord, for the blessing of God does not cease.

Our choir brought us to a place of deep reflection today with their powerful ministration, "The Day of Accountability."

It’s a sober reminder that our walk with God matters, and living for Him daily is our greatest calling.

Let’s examine our hearts and ensure our lives align with His word every single day.
