POISONED AND WOUNDED
CHAPTER 7
Tobi opened her eyes slowly after many attempts by the
doctor to wake her up. The doctor had even advised they
give up on her as she might die anytime soon but her
friends kept praying until she woke up.
Doctor! She is awake! My sister is awake!" Shouted Mrs
Tope.
Can you please excuse us? Said the doctor.
Everyone went out, her friends continued praying for her
until the doctor came to the reception to meet them.
"Mrs Tope, please relax, your sister is stable now but she
has been given a dose of injection to help her rest for a long
time. So, i won't want you to disturb her." The doctor was
saying...
"Okay, doctor, when can we see her?"
"When she is awake, the nurses will let you know."The
doctor replied and went to check on other patients.
"Aunty, I will advise you go home to relax, we will stay here
till you come back." Eunice said.
"What kind of relaxation is that? Ha! I am okay, don't
worry. I should be the one telling you ladies to go home,
bath and come back."
We are okay, ma'am. We will wait till she wakes up." Kate
replied.

Paul was still unconscious, lying lifeless on the hospital
bed. His mother, Mrs Ajeniwura was sobbing and touching
the gas which was passed to help him breathe.
"My son oooo! Wake up and look at me." She said sobbing.
"You have to calm down and let's see what will happen" Mr
Ajeniwura replied.
"I should calm down! Hmm... My only son! My only child! I
should calm down! Oh God! Where is your face? I served
you enough! I dedicated my son to you! He has been serving you since childhood... You can not kill him now."
Mrs Ajeniwura prayed and broke into tears.
"My dear, I know God will keep him, He gave this boy to us
and promised us that he will live long, why will he fail
now?"
"Please, tell God not to fail ooo, tell him o, my son must not
die! Nothing must happen to him." She said and broke
down completely while her husband pet her.

Tobi sang out of her sleep and woke up completely. Her
sister, her sister's husband and her friends who were
sitting in the ward joined her in singing.

After they had sung the song, they all blasted in tongues
and Kate was surprised to be immersed in the Holy Ghost
at that moment. She just lay down on the hospital floor
and began to speak in tongues, edifying herself the more.
In no time, the room was filled up with others from
different rooms, some came to see what was happening
while some suddenly felt a touch on them healing them
and they were convinced it was from Tobi's room.
"Begin to tell God what you don't want in your life, Jesus is
here to heal, strengthen and give according to your heart
desire." Eunice seized the opportunity to talk about Jesus
even while they were praying.
The doctor on hearing the noise called on the matron to
stop the noise but the matron getting there knelt down to
pray for her only daughter that has been married for
twenty years without a child. The matron at first didn't
wanted to join but Tobi spoke out concerning her that
Jesus is right there to answer her and she claimed it.
"I don't know if you are here and have seen the move of the
Holy Spirit, Jesus is real, you have seen it yourself, will you
come to where I am standing right now to drop everything
at the cross? Are you ready to follow Him? Come to Jesus
now." Eunice continued sweating due to the low ventilation
because of the overcrowded room.
So many people moved closer to her and she prayed with
them. A few minutes later when the doctor was still hearing
the noise and the matron did not come back, he decided to
go himself. On getting there, he felt a very strong presence
but he had to stop the noise. He moved closer to Mrs Tope
and begged her to please stop her sisters as this could
implicate him and Eunice rounded up, making everyone to
move out joyfully as some were healed, some received the
life of peace and some prayed for their loved ones. Above
all, Eunice and her friends were happy God used them.
"Eunice, you can not escape it, you will get married to a
pastor." Tobi said weakly.
"I do not argue again unlike before, I am coming to the
understanding that God can not invest mightily in my life
and instead of me using those investments on Kingdom
matters, I use them on secular things." Eunice replied.
"You are correct but sometimes God might equip you to go
into the secular world to showcase Him thereby not making
you to get married to a minister" Aina cut in nodding.
"I agree but remember that even pastors are sent out to
minister to the secular world" Eunice added.
"Let's all agree that we all are ministers of God, just in
different dimensions and operations". Kate said after much
deliberations in her heart.
"Yes, dear, that's where purpose fulfilment comes in.
Everyone in this kingdom we are is a minister, in fact, we
don't have pastors as title but as an office! We have
pastors, teachers, evangelists, apostles, prophet’s office not
titles."
"Eunice, wait, what about those that are pastors and
apostles?" Curious Kate asked.
"To my best knowledge, they shouldn't attach it to their
names. Take for instance, God is the office of the Trinity.
The three of them are God but the other two did not attach it to their names also a principal of a school, it's just a title,
why don't we call the person principal so so?" Eunice
answered.
"Ladies, God will be helping us with more understanding."
Mrs Tope was saying when Tobi cut in.
"I will like to share my experience with you. I saw Jesus!"
"What!!" Everyone in the room echoed excitedly.
"Who do you think can do what happened to me if not
Jesus Christ?!" Tobi said.
"Yes! That's true! Who did this? Jesus!" Eunice exclaimed
excitedly.
"He told me so many things and after I am done telling you
all, we will go to Paul's room, I know he is in this hospital."
Tobi said.
"Yes, my dear, he is at the male ward which is a bit far
from here. Please, before you start, the doctor already
discharged you, so, when you are done telling us, we leave
for Paul's room and we go home." Mrs Tope announced.
Tobi told them everything that transpired between her and
Jesus Christ and everyone just prayed to Jesus to
encounter such mightily.
