The Poor in Spirit
Matthew 5:3

To be poor in spirit is to live in total dependence on God. It is recognizing that without Him we have nothing, and with Him we have everything. Pride pushes God away, but humility draws us into deeper fellowship with Him.

God desires that we experience the reality of His Kingdom even here on earth, a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

When we depend fully on Christ, we begin to walk in the fullness of what He has prepared for us. Less of self, more of Him. 🙏✨

Total Surrender.

The Christian life is not partial — it’s complete surrender. For glory to be revealed, the flesh must die. The cross is the place where self ends and God begins.

We can’t please God by our own strength, because “it is God who works in you both to will and to do…” (Philippians 2:13).

And here’s the beautiful part — God desires intimacy with us even more than we desire it with Him.

Lord, we surrender all. 🔥🙏

📌 Service Highlights – Tuesday, July 16th

What an amazing day in the presence of God! 🔥🔥
Every moment felt intentional, and the Spirit moved so gently—yet so deeply—in our midst.

We kicked off mightily with a fire-filled prayer session led by Minister Kenneth 🙇🏻‍♂️. We committed the day’s activities to Abba, asking for His presence and guidance.

Then came worship… 🥹
The music ministers took the stage, and our hearts were prepared. The worship was heartfelt, soul-lifting, and pure! 🥀
With arms raised and hearts poured out, we reverenced the One who is the reason behind our gathering.

Next up: praise! 💃🏽🎶
We clapped. We danced. We shouted. Our God is BIG! Massive shout-out to our music ministers for always carrying the Spirit with them 🔥💯

After the ministration came an eye-opening exhortation from Sir Alex on "How to Evangelise" — a powerful continuation from last week’s topic, “The Importance of Evangelism.”

A major takeaway:
💡 “In all labour there is profit…”
We were reminded that the work we do works on us even more than we work on it.

And then came the Word 📖🔥
Minister Esther shared an impactful message on "Fear." Through the story of David and Goliath, she showed us how our faith in God gives us the courage to stand strong. 🙌🏼
Thank you so much, Ma, for yielding to the Spirit 🙏🏼

We sealed the Word with prayer and blessings upon the vessel who delivered it. Then came the announcements…

You already know — PRAYER CONFERENCE '25!!! 🔥🔥
Theme: "The God of Wonders"

As Minister Kenneth said:
➡️ “We will indeed see wonders in this season, especially in the upcoming exams.”

We were also blessed by the esteemed presence of Uncle P 🥹 Thank you, sir, for honoring us — your presence meant so much 💐

Plus... we welcomed a first-timer! 💃💃💃
He was received the Abiding Word way, and we believe TAWG UNIZIK will bless and shape his journey.

As service came to a close with ordering of materials, one thing remains clear:

We are never alone. ❤️

📸 SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS — JULY 8TH 🔥

In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy.
Tuesday’s service made that scripture come alive 🥳

It would honestly be an error not to recount the moments from our first-ever JEANS AND SNEAKERS SERVICE 😁‼️

The service opened with a fiery prayer session led by Minister Kenneth 🙏🏿—a timely reminder of who we gathered for.
Then came worship and praise... and oh my!🔥 The atmosphere shifted. Fingers kissed strings, drums thundered, and hearts jumped as we danced before Jehovah! A huge shoutout to our anointed music ministers 👏🏿💃🏾

But wait, there was more 👀

We had an exciting Bible Quiz 😄💥—from "Where did Adam live?" to "What’s the name of the donkey that carried Jesus?" (Just kidding 🤭), it was fun all through.

Next came Team Boys vs Team Girls 🎮. A gospel song challenge based on letters given by the minister. W for We will be many ooo 🤣
Spoiler alert: the ladies won 😏… or maybe the brothers were just being gentlemen? 😂

As the fun settled, the music ministers returned with a soul-lifting special ministration—In the Room—and indeed, GOD WAS IN THE ROOM 🕊️🔥

Then came our spiritual feast 🥹📖
Minister Clinton preached a life-changing Word titled: A Relationship with God.
Takeaway? “A relationship doesn’t just consist of persons, it consists of willing persons.”
So... are you willing to truly walk with your Maker? 🤔

Oh, and guess what? 👀
Pastor Precious & Pastor Osinachi surprised us with their presence 🥳💑 Thank you, sirs and ma, for always being present with your prayers, counsel, and endless love ❤️

We wrapped up with announcements (📣 PRAYER CONFERENCE comes up JULY 18TH — don’t miss it!)
Then Pastor Precious blessed us with the closing prayer 🙏🏿

It was truly a service of joy, laughter, power, and presence 🙌🏿

Service Highlights Tuesday, June 17th

Failing to recount Tuesday's service would surely be a mistake...
Why, you ask?
Why not? It was a powerful and life-shaping encounter! 🔥🔥

The service officially kick-started with prayers led by Minister Kenneth. The intense prayer session was just what we needed to enter into deep communion with Abba 🙏🏿.

Next up was the praise and worship session 🤩.
The choir mounted the stage to minister to the King of kings. Not all praises are worthy to ascend to the Almighty Spirit, but I’d wager that ours qualified 🤭😁. Shoutout to the choir group, your melodies open doors! 💥

Did we end there though? You guessed right... there’s more.

Sir Alex was invited to the stage for a short exhortation to stir our spirit man. He spoke on the topic: "The Importance of Evangelism."
A powerful takeaway was this: “One shall become a thousand.” Amen to that! 🙏🏿😇

Of course, we shouldn't come into God's presence without being fed the Word 🤭
Oh, the exhortation was impactful, but as with any good meal, after dessert comes the main course.

We had a very special man of God mount the pulpit to minister to us.
All the way from City Church, we were pleased to welcome a great servant of Christ, one whose walk with the Lord is evident in both word and deed.
Thank you, Pastor Thankgod, for allowing the Lord to use you as a vessel to bless us that evening.

The man of God preached on the topic: "Waiting on the Lord."
I am convinced that it was a blessing to everyone present.

Minister Clinton then mounted the pulpit and led a short prayer, dedicating it to the vessel God used to bless us. After that, the announcements were shared.

The offering, the grace , and ordering of materials brought the service to a beautiful end.

As always, it’s a joy to fellowship with the brethren in the presence of the Lord.

📣Tuesday Service Highlights 10th June 📣💥

Service this Tuesday as always was... You guessed it, impactful and worthy of the books. 🤗

From the choir ministrations to the WORD, Non was worth missing.

The service opened mightily with a prayer session led by minister Esther to prepare our hearts for the reception of Our beloved🤗🤭

After which we had the choir mount the stage. Indeed it was Glory to Glory, oh where should i begin? The heartwarming worships sang in reverence to abba or The transformational praises? We were indeed blessed. 😁 Big shout out to the Choir group for such a powerful ministration... We love you all☺️☺️❣️

We had two testifiers this tuesday: minister Esther and minister Clinton took the floor respectively to share with us the wonderful works of God over their lives❣️

Service as we know is never complete without something very special 🤭, after much burning, the man on fire mounted the stage to set us ablaze🔥🔥... It was time for the word 💥💥. Minister Kenneth ministered to us the topic: Relevance in secret place

He elaborated on how we as Christians should build in the secret.

It was enlightening and soul lifting, its word ministrations like this that makes bible study, BIBLE STUDY🤭

Thank you sir for impacting us.🙏

The word session concluded with minister Kenneth ministering to a select few as the spirit gave him impression, this was promptly followed with heated prayers led by minister Clinton. Our prayer points: First for the minister who blessed us with the word, secondly for the reception of the word into our hearts and thirdly for the brethren both those present and those who couldn't make it☺️

It was a wonderful time in the presence of God, and surely something to look forward to every week, the service smoldered to an end with the announcements.

Minister Clinton gave the announcements amongst which was (🥁🥁 drum rolls) the announcement of our upcoming Men's event💥💥📣. Men in the House were asked to prepare for the 3 day program which starts on friday (an exclusive men service🤭) up until Sunday... I'll not give anymore spoilers😁

We shared the grace and ordering of equipment followed.

🌹 SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS 🌹

📅 TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH, 2025

"... BUT THERE IS A SPIRIT IN MAN, AND THE INSPIRATION OF THE ALMIGHTY GIVETH THEM UNDERSTANDING."

Last week, we were told this Bible study would be different. Today, I confirm it with one word:
🔥 POWERFUL 🔥

Every soul present left with a conviction. We bless the Lord!

🙏 A life-changing experience 🥹🔥

Service opened with Minister Kenneth leading prayers, followed by 30 minutes of tongues to set the atmosphere 🔥🔥

The TAWG UNIZIK choir 💃🏽🤗 led a spirit-filled worship, ushering us into God's presence.

The testimony session welcomed the great man of God 🔥🙇🏻‍♂️🔥 with a standing ovation 👏👏.

Before the word, the choir ministered "Overflow" by Sinach 💃.

🔥 Pastor Egua Aitonje 🔥 from The Abiding Word Ministry, Port Harcourt, took us down memory lane 🥹, sharing how TAWG UNIZIK is home 🤭🥹. His uplifting exhortation prepared us for the word.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6

⚠️ It is so easy to forget that you are anointed 🪔😮‍💨

As Pastor Egua said: "I tell you this for free, don't forget!!"

What a privilege to be under such a mighty ministration 🔥.

Pastor Precious and his wife, Pastor Osinachi, humbly sat under the word from a man who was once his course mate 🥹🤭.

🙌 The Lord is good 🔥🔥. Yesterday, I saw that he truly raises men! Glory!! 💗

After the word, Pastor Precious encouraged us to meditate on the message. We prayed for Pastor Egua, asking for growth in wisdom, health, and wealth.

💰 Offerings were given, announcements followed, and we wrapped up with group pictures 📸. Moments like these must be captured 🥹

‼️ Don’t get so caught up in life that you forget the calling over your head. If you're moving with God, go as far as your eyes can see! 🥹🔥

*Highlights of Tuesday Bible study, February 18th 2025*

🥀The Lord truly, is an ever-present help in times of trouble 🥀

Yesterday was another great privilege to gather together in God's presence❣️❣️. What can I say my brethren??..oh yes, You guessed right!!! Service was a blast🔥🔥

The prayers, the praise, the testimonies, the word, the...🤭🤭...who could have missed such an atmosphere??

*Well, we have to be liberal you know, here's a snippet of service :*

So service kick started with a powerful opening prayer led by Minister Kenneth. Next was a glorious, healing and transforming praise and worship session. Special appreciation to music ministers and the two instrumentalists😏👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿, what a way to praise!!!

Then, the floor was opened for testifiers to testify of God's goodness in their lives. We had 2 of them; they didn't just give us testimonies but also reminded us of the vast advantages that a Christian who is in Christ has. We bless the Lord for his mercies upon Sir Alex and Min Kenneth and we pray for more testimonies as you live on. 🔥

After the testimonies, the choir mounted the stage for their special ministration 💃💃, they ministered the song ‘Jehova Nissi’ by Nathaniel Bassi, and as always the music Ministers led us to great heights in worship, preparing our hearts to receive the word.

My favorite time is always when the word is dished out 😉😉😍, something new for the week, an insight from men and women😏 of God. We were privileged to listen to Minister Esther who gave us insights on "kindgom keys to overcoming DEPRESSION", which we know is a crucial topic for youths. Praise be to God for the privilege of gaining such enlightenment. The text was Mathew 6 v 26-30. Today, the secrets behind depression have been explored and the chains of depression have been broken🙂‍↕.

Minister Kenneth mounted the stage for a heated prayer session. 😤🔥

The closing prayer was 🔥🔥, we battled against any form of depression amongst us, and to God be the glory, I personally believe there'll be lots of victory testimonies next week😁🤭🔥
