FOBC PRAYER NUGGETS (Saturday 3rd May)
1. Psalm 104:1-2
Praise the Lord, my soul. Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendour and majesty. The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent.
Praise/Worship
Our God is an enigma, He rules in the Kingdom of men. Lord, you are full of wisdom and power upholding the righteous with your great strength. Promotion to the next level comes from you, and when you open the door, no one can close it. As the great and mighty God, you control the affairs of all nations and determine the fate of all peoples. How excellent is your name, Oh Lord, and how great your sovereignty is. We acknowledge that all things , including times and seasons, are under your control. You are God indeed, from the beginning to the end, and no one can withstand your awesome power. We offer praises to you alone, O Lord, because you are worthy to receive them. Alleluya!!!
2. Daniel 2:44
In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.
Intercession/ Supplication
O Lord, restore all things, and may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. God's kingdom is His rule. Lord, I surrender to your rulership today and make you the Lord over my life. May your rule usher in the advent of righteousness in my life and that of my family. I declare that nothing unholy will enter and rule over my life. All other kingdoms are transient, but your kingdom, O Lord, will last forever. I align myself to your everlasting kingdom that will never be destroyed and shun the kingdom of the world and other ephemeral ones. On Christ the solid Rock, I will stand day by day, confident that I shall be protected from storms and winds from other kingdoms. Amen.
