There are seasons when God changes the story of a life. This end-of-year, we’re asking God for a different ending by the authority He has given us.

Dominion is not a slogan. It is the voice God gave humanity to steward heaven’s purposes on earth. It is the courage to speak life into broken places, the faith to reclaim what the enemy has stolen, and the discipline to walk in God’s order day by day. Marriage!!!

The office of husband and wife remains dreading even as time passes by from one dispensation to another. Though many admire the office and wanted the honour that accompanied it, but as a result of ignorance or rejection of God's order system of operation my didn't succeed.

Jesus, The way, the truth and the Life.

How do you preach Jesus to a people who have never read the bible?
or How do you preach Jesus to a people who don't believe the bible?
What of those who don't even know there is a bible.

In the ministry of gospel, communicating the mind of God has to be specific and directed. There is no such thing as an haphazard preaching of the gospel. Every time the gospel was recorded to be preached in the bible, there was an audience which varies per time.

In Act 2, the audience was the Jews in all the nations who have come to celebrate the festival of weeks, in Act 3 and 4, it was the Jews and elders of the Jewish faith who were present at the synagogue. In Act 7, it was with a well informed audience based on the Jewish history. The Acts of the Apostles is a commentary of the different groups of people to whom the gospel was preached.

In all various approaches determined by the audience, the Apostles endeavoured only to preached Jesus. They seem to find a way to preach Jesus to both a Jewish audience who knew the law and the prophetic history of the Jews and were expecting a messiah, and also to an audience who were purely gentiles.

There seem to be a parallel in our contemporary world, preaching Jesus to a churchy or religious ("christianese") who have read or heard about Jesus in probably a positive way. And preaching Jesus to an audience who have never heard of Jesus. The approach would most likely be different.

Among the numerous titles that Jesus bore, the title of 'Saviour' depicts his assignment and encapsulates a justification for everything that happened to Him. If he was not the savior, his teachings would be a bunch of philosophies lacking eternal substance, his miracles will just be like many of the others that were done before and during his days. His death would have made no difference to the human race, and to God's plan, his resurrection would literally be meaningless. And in fact our faith in Him makes us more miserable. The life, death, resurrection of the person of Jesus benefits us only if we believe him as the saviour.

Many of the other titles given to Jesus, stem from the Jewish understanding of the savior. They have always known that the savior will be a prophet like unto Moses, He will be a miracle worker, performing many signs and wonders. The title "The Way, the Truth and the Life", is a specific attempt of Jesus to speak boldly about who He is.

Today, the church community remembers the Great Man of God.

Few days before he died, Bishop Idahosa preached a message titled, The benefit of death and he preached so hard and made death so useless. He made it clear to us that he had finished the work God gave him in that message.

A month before he died, he told his wife, Margaret, that he had done all that God wanted him to do. His wife did not understand the message and thought he needed a retreat to receive fresh ideas. His wife travelled and was planning to return to Nigeria when she was told her husband had passed on to glory.

He was known for many notable quotes including “my God is not a poor God”, “your attitude determines your altitude”, “it is more risky, not to take a risk”, “I am a possibilitarian”, “A big head without a big brain is a big load to the neck”,”If your faith says yes, God cannot say no”, amongst others. Many of his messages on faith, miracles and prosperity remain a classic among Pentecostals.

He had strong links with international gospel. He played a major role in the history of charismatic ministry in Nigeria and in the world at large.

As a ministry, GGC believes in the labours of the fathers in the kingdom and we pray the Lord keeps us all fruitful in the call He has given to us.
