2kings 25:26-30

27 Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison.
28 He spoke kindly to him, and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
29 So Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life.
30 And as for his provisions, there was a regular ration given him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.

I invite all men to join me this Saturday 19th, as we collectively engage with the Lord in our scheduled Prayer Conference.

Men are more vulnerable to various challenges at different levels of their lives. They engage in more health risk behaviours but less help-seeking.

The Bible makes it clear that older men are to be godly examples:

"Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us." Titus 2:6-8

This programme is designed to address several issues surrounding men challenges and help them live their lives.

We are in a time when women carry more influence than any other generation, the power of prayer has never been more important to remind us that we do not have to bear our crosses alone. We need prayer to stand guard over our hearts and minds and over the hearts and minds of our families.
