This is a place where the Youths in Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim worldwide, gathering to make a big difference in the Christendom as a whole by "raising champions that will dominate God's Kingdom. OUR OBJECTIVE
To reach out to the youth through services and various activities that will unite us and form a group dynamic that will allow us to grow spiritually so that we are well equipped
to then reach out to the wider community and fulfill the church's vision. OUR GOALS
•Increase the participation of the youth that comes to church and actively participate in the Service.
•Promote communication and good relationships with the other fellowships (including the church board, fathers', mothers', single adults' and other fellowships and groups in the church.
•To build a fellowship that is unified, loving and caring in order to create an environment that will make everyone and anyone who attend our services and activities feel welcome.
•To ensure that we keep the youth members informed about anything and everything they need to know.
•To be creative in planning services and activities that will interest and engage the members of the fellowship while helping us attain our objective. WHAT WE DO?
•We have services that cater for our spiritual growth
•We participate in various camps, meetings and gathering with youth fellowships from other branches and denominations.
•We have lessons on various topics/issues that affect our daily lives or prepare for adulthood.
•We engage in the presentation of music, drama, poetry, dance items and other interesting activities
•We encourage the talents of the group members by providing a platform on which they can showcase their talent to the church
•We organize sports days and group outings
WHEN DO WE MEET? The youth usually meets the church building.
•There is a youth service every third (3rd) Tuesday at 10pm.
•We usually meet and discuss outstanding issues share information.
•We then have a practice session for music, drama, poetry, dance or any other items that we are going to present in the future. This takes place until 11.30pm
•We have a 15 minute break for refreshments before the service starts at 12am.
•There is a Sunday church service called YOUTH SUNDAY organized and led by the Youth Committee every Last Sunday of every month.
•We have fasting and prayer service the Saturday before the Youth Sunday.
•This Saturday is also used to finalize the practice for any items to showcase on the youth Sunday. WHO CAN JOIN?
•Anyone who feels that they belong to the youth fellowship; we imagine someone between 18 and above. HOW TO JOIN?
