DAILY CAPSULE
23rd January, 2024.

*WHEN YOU PRAY...*

Dearly beloved, may God pay attention to you each time you pray in Jesus name.

Beloved, the importance of prayer in any Christian's life cannot be overemphasised. This is one lesson we can learn from the episode recorded in 9:10-11 NKJV;

*"Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.”*
*So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying..."*

There are few lessons we can learn from this story:

(i) As a Christian you need to cultivate the habit of praying always because God pays attention to you when you pray. Paul was a young convert but the Lord saw Him praying. Why did He pay attention? He cannot hear you calling His name without paying attention to you! Stop robbing yourself of God's attention pray always.

(ii) Another lesson from here is that prayer is an avenue to receive revelations from God. It's not a one way traffic. When you pray God speaks. Paul caught the revelation of what was going to happen to him next while praying;

"...And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.” ( ACTS 9: 12 NKJV)

Child of God, there is power in prayer. Have you prayed today?

(iii) One further lesson from the story of Paul praying is that prayer is an avenue for God to connect you to your destiny helpers and empowers or emboldens them to help you. Paul needed his sight back and no one at that moment was bold enough to go near him but, his prayer attracted God to him and through that God instructed and emboldened Ananias to go and profer solution to his problem ( ACTS 9:10-18). Beloved, you need a destiny helper. Everyone does but, they may not be attracted to you until you attract God to your situation by praying.

(iv) The final lesson we can learn from the story of Paul praying is that, prayer brings solution to all your problems;

*"And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”*
*Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized."* (ACTS 9:17-18 NKJV)

Beloved, from the above, you will agree with me that you cannot be a winning child of God if you are not ready to pay on all things and about everything. Stop underrating the devil and his agents. Pray and keep praying because when you pray God is attracted to you.

In conclusion, if you are reading this and you are not born again your voice will not be recognised by God. He paid attention to Paul's voice because he surrendered his life to Him. Surrender to God today. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and God will begin to pay attention to your voice whenever you pray in the name of Jesus.

Pray all manners of prayer now even if it is for 10 minutes.

DAILY CAPSULE
12th January, 2024.

*YOU NEED THE HOLY GHOST.*

Dearly beloved, may the Lord fill you with His Spirit this moment in Jesus name.

Another lesson we can learn from the story of the conversion of Saul of Tarsus ( Apostle Paul) is that every born again Christian needs the Holy Spirit to live a successful Christian life. That was why God made sure that the first gift Paul received after the gift of salvation was the gift of being filled with the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit;

*"And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit..."* (ACTS 9:17 NKJV)

The question is, why do you need the Holy Spirit? You need the Holy Spirit because He is the power you need to separate you from your sinful life of the past and launch you into a new life of holiness and righteousness.
*"Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized."*
(ACTS 9:18 NKJV)

Beloved, you need the power of the Holy Spirit for the scale of the devil to be completely removed from your eyes. You need the Holy Spirit for you to hate sin and to love righteousness.
Furthermore, you need the Holy Spirit to enable you to render service unto the Lord.
Your journey with the Lord is now a spiritual journey which you can not undertake with the flesh. According to ACTS 9:20. Paul was able to preach boldly because he has already been filled with the Holy Spirit;

*"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing..."*
(JHN 6:63a)

You also need the Holy Spirit to receive direct information from God. Once you have the Holy Spirit in operation within you, you hardly will miss any vital information again from the Lord just like it happened to Paul when the Jews took counsel to kill him;

*"Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him. But their plot became known to Saul..." (* ACTS 9: 23-24a NKJV)

Finally, you need the Holy to receive free counsel and wisdom from God. The truth is, what is applicable to the Lord Jesus is also applicable to you once you become genuinely born again;

*"The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD."* ( ISH 11:2 NKJV)

In conclusion beloved, are you born again? Is the Holy Spirit in operation in you in all the manner stated above? If not, please lay your hand on your head where you are and ask God to fill you with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name. Try it, it works.

Are you a young born again Christian and you have not been baptised in the Holy Ghost? Please go to your Pastor and ask him/her to lay hands on you to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

If you are reading this and you desire the infilling of the Holy Ghost? Your first step to receiving this power is to surrender your life to Jesus and be born again. Will you like to do this now? Once you do, His Holy Spirit is available to fill you too.

Father, please fill me afresh with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

11th January, 2024.

*HE KNOWS YOUR LOCATION.*

Dearly beloved, may the Lord locate and help you by His grace today in Jesus name.

Beloved, there are times we do things thinking God does not know where we are but He does always.
For example, when Paul obtained permission from the high Priest to go and waste the followers of Jesus Christ in Damascus he never thought God could locate him on the way but He did;

*"And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem*
*And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?"* ( ACTS 9:1-4)

Beloved, no one can hide from God and that is why the Psalmist said in PS 139:7-8 NKJV;

*"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there."*

Beloved, God is everywhere because He is a Spirit.
He knows your location. Therefore, if you claim to be born again and yet, you still commit sins secretly, God is seeing you and He is saying to you come back to me and I will wash you once again from all your sins.

Beloved, are you struggling with life and you are thinking of packing it up by committing su***de? This message is coming to you now because God knows your location. Stop, think, the one who located the widow of Zarephath and did not allow her to commit su***de together with her son according to 1 KGS 17:9-16,
is where you are now. He is willing to send you help. Look up to Him in prayer and I strongly believe He will send you the needed help before it is too late.

Beloved, are you sick and Doctors have said there is no hope for you? Don't give up please. The one who located and healed that man that was sick for thirty eight terrible years is just by your side now. Call upon Him by faith, He will deliver and heal you and you shall return with your testimony in Jesus name.

Beloved, have you heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ over and over again but the spirit of religion will not allow you to yield your soul to accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour? This message is coming to you now because He knows your location. If He could save Saul of Tarsus, turned him to an Apostle and used him mightily for His glory then, salvation has come to you too. All you need do at that very location where you are reading this is to surrender your life to Jesus just like Saul of Tarsus did and your life will take a brand new turn. He is there with you now, please yield yourself to Him.

PLEASE PRAY:

Father, please locate me for your kindness, favour and mercy today in Jesus name.

Father, please locate and help me now in Jesus name.

INTRODUCTION: Thanksgiving is the art of giving thanks to God through the demonstration and show of appreciation for all His goodness. It's good to appreciate the Lord as Hannah did in 1 Sam 2.

1. Father, I thank you for creating me in your own image in Jesus' name. Gen 1:27

2. Father, I thank you for declaring me 'very good' after creating me in Jesus' name. Gen 1:31.

3. Father, thank you for giving me dominion over all the works of your hands in Jesus' name. Gen 1:27

4. Father, I thank you for the gift of salvation for mankind in Jesus' name. John 3:16

5. Father, I thank you for showing unto me the only way, the truth and life. John 4:16

6. Father, I thank you for the salvation of my soul in Jesus' name. Psalm 62:1

7. Father, I thank you for my sanctification in Jesus name. 2 Thes 2:13

8. Father, thank you for your mercy that endures forever over my life, in Jesus' name. Lam 3:22-23

9. Father, I thank you for renewing your mercies every morning over my life, in Jesus' name. Lam 2:22

9th January, 2024.

*DELAY COULD BE DANGEROUS* .

Dearly Beloved, may the Lord help you to do all you need to do this year quickly and without delay in Jesus name.

Beloved, according to ACTS 9:20, the moment Paul was saved, he did not waste any time in professing and declaring his new found faith in Christ to others ;

*"And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God..."*

What is the lesson here? Delay could be dangerous.
If Paul had not started to preach immediately he got converted he might have been tempted to go back to his old sinful and wicked ways.
Beloved, since you got born again how many people within your family have you spoken to about the love of Jesus Christ?
Since you got born again how many people have you led to Christ either by preaching to them directly or by your conduct? Delay could be dangerous child of God. If you fail to profess and declare your new found faith and love for Jesus Christ openly you might be tempted to go back to the world. Identify with Jesus publicly and you will see your faith growing on daily basis.

Also, if there is anything you need to drop for the sake of your new found faith don't hesitate or delay to drop such. Learn from Peter and his colleagues, the very first day he and his colleagues encountered Jesus, they left all things immediately and decided to follow Him according to LK 5:11 NKJV;

*"So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him."*

Beloved, please forsake whatever you need to forsake without further delay for the sake of following Jesus. If you need to forsake lying, anger, backbiting, strong drinks and substances, illicit s*x etc. for the sake of following Jesus please do it immediately. Child of God, if Gehazi had forsaken greed and his love for material things immediately he started following God through Elisha he would not have ended up a l***r!
If Demas had forsaken his love for worldly pleasure immediately he got born again he would not have ended up in hell! Delay could be dangerous please do it now.

In conclusion beloved, whatever bridge you need to burn for the sake of following Jesus and never to go back to your old sinful life should be burnt now. Please do it now because delay could be dangerous.

May the Lord help you and help me too to end up well in Christ in Jesus name.

*WHEN THE LORD CROWNS THE YEAR...* ( PT 1)

Dearly beloved, may the Lord crown this year for you with absolute peace of mind in Jesus name.

Beloved, in PS 65:11 NKJV David wrote:

*"You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance."*

One of the goodness you can receive from God as we invite Him to close the year for us with His bounty is peace of mind.

Of all the things man may be searching for in life, peace is key.

You need peace of mind to adequately prepare for the coming year. Where there is no peace there can be no progress. That is why you need to pray that the Lord should give your absolute peace of mind as we close this year.

Someone may ask can one really have peace in this life? Yes, it is possible.
To have peace does not mean absence of troubles around you. It does not mean absence of challenges or difficulties. What it simply means is having inner or personal peace and calmness in the midst of a troubled world.

Beloved, the only way you can attain the kind of peace described above is by accepting Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour.

The only way you can attain the kind of peace described above is to remain abiding in Christ if you have already surrendered your life to Him. Don't because of the present situation in the world abandon your faith in God. He has given you the Prince of peace don't lose focus of Him;

*"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."* ( ISH 9:6)

In conclusion, Jesus Himself declared in JHN 14:27:

*"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."*

Beloved, as this year winds down do not be afraid. Stick to the word of God. Believe the Prince of peace and the Lord will crown this year for you with absolute peace of mind in Jesus name. Halleluyah!

PLEASE PRAY:

1. Father, thank you for Jesus the Prince of peace in my life.

2. Father, as we close this year please don't let me depart from the Prince of peace in Jesus name.

3. Father, in your own way please crown this year for me with absolute peace of mind.

4. Father, please give me the kind of peace the world can not give.

19th December, 2023.

*SONGS OF DIVINE REPOSITIONING...*

Dearly beloved, may the Lord fill your mouth with laughter and may He give you a new song today and always in Jesus name.

Beloved, one final thing you will experience when you are finally repositioned is that your mouth will be filled with laughter. You will forget the sorrow and pains of the past and you will sing a new song of praise unto to the Lord.

For example, when the siege laid by Pharaoh for the children of Israel by the red sea was over and they were finally repositioned to continue on their journey to the promised land their mouths were filled with laughter and they sang:

*"...I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea..."* ( EX 15:1a)

They did not stop at that, they also sang:

*"Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders...* ( EX 15:11)

Beloved, when the children of Israel were finally repositioned they sang a new song and their victory became permanent. They never experienced such a siege again in their generations.

Beloved, you are finally repositioned, to make it permanent behave like children of Israel, sing a new song unto the Lord now.

Further more, when Hannah was finally repositioned from being called barren to be called mother of children her mouth was filled with laughter and she sang:

*"There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God...* ( 1 SAM 2:2)

Hannah's barrenness was over and she sang a new song unto the Lord and suddenly there was miraculous increase in her life to the extent that she declared in 1 SAM 2:5;

*"They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble."*

Beloved, I know you are finally repositioned, if you want more victories from the Lord sing a new song unto the Lord where you are now. If you want to experience more of the miraculous sing a new song unto the Lord now. Will you?

Halleluyah, glory be to God, your repositioning will be upwards. It shall be progressive and you will never retrogress again in Jesus name.
