Caring & Sharing Sufi Centre SUFI KHALWA - A Night for Nearness and Answers (QURB WA JAWAB)
• Every first Friday of the Month - 8:00 pm till dawn.

Caring and Sharing SUFI Centre aims to present Sufism as a HEART-based spiritual practice for SELF REALIZATION (MAARIFAH) and a mystical system for INNER DEVELOPMENT. According to our Murshid, the SUFI way helps individuals purify the soul so that the divine light and love may be experienced and eventually expressed among mankind. VISION:

To see humanity rise in consciousness such that people an

d nations relate with the understanding of oneness and wisdom of unity, knowing fully well that whatever is done to others is done to oneself

MISSION:

1️⃣ To UNDERSTAND, EXPERIENCE, and SPREAD the sacred knowledge of Unity (Oneness).

2️⃣ To AWAKEN the latent power in man.

3️⃣ To MAKE POSSIBLE the exchange of thoughts and ideas among people of different creeds, religions, and tribes. OUR SERVICES

🌿 Welcome to August!
A new month is more than the turning of a calendar. It is another opportunity to speak life, walk in faith, and receive the abundant goodness of Allah.

While sitting at the feet of my Sheikh and Murshid, Master (Dr.) RTB Akinbile, I have come to appreciate that the words we consistently speak in faith shape the atmosphere of our hearts and influence the direction of our lives.
Allah beautifully reminds us:

"Do you not see how Allah presents a parable? A good word is like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and whose branches reach to the sky. It produces its fruit at all times by the permission of its Lord... Allah makes firm those who believe with the firm word in this worldly life and in the Hereafter."
— Qur'an 14:24–27

This reminds us that words spoken in faith are never empty. Like a firmly rooted tree, they bear fruit in their appointed season by the permission of Allah.

Let your words this month be rooted in faith, gratitude, and unwavering trust in Allah.
Refuse to let fear, doubt, or negative confessions take root in your heart. Instead, plant words that strengthen your faith, because Allah establishes those who believe with the Word that stands firm.

As you begin this new month, declare Allah's goodness over your life with confidence. Believe that every sincere prayer, every righteous effort, and every hope entrusted to Him is under His perfect care.

May this August bring you divine favour, clarity, provision, spiritual growth, answered prayers, and overflowing blessings. May Allah establish you firmly upon His guidance in this world and in the Hereafter. Āmīn.

"Good things bad things; good people bad people. This opposite is valid only by contrast."

A storm tore the roof off an old man's house.
His neighbours shook their heads and said, "What terrible luck!"
The old man simply smiled and replied:
"Thank you. But whether it is good or bad, no one can say. Only God can tell."

Weeks later, robbers swept through the village. They broke into every house except his, because the missing roof convinced them there was nothing worth stealing.
"How fortunate you are!" the neighbours exclaimed.
The old man gave the same answer:
"Whether it is good or bad, no one can say. Only God can tell."

Not long after, his only son was thrown from a horse and suffered a serious injury. Again the neighbours pitied him.
Then war broke out.
Every healthy young man in the village was taken to the battlefield. His son, still recovering from his injury, was the only one left behind.

While sitting at the feet of my Sheikh and Murshid, Master (Dr.) RTB Akinbile, I learned a lesson that has stayed with me:
We are often too quick to label events as blessings or misfortunes before the story is complete.

What feels like a setback today may be Allah's protection.
What looks like success today may become tomorrow's greatest trial.

Only Allah sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.
So the next time life doesn't go according to your plans, pause before judging the moment.
Perhaps the wiser response is simply:
"Whether it is good or bad, no one can say. Only God can tell."
