Happy Children’s Day… yet many children are celebrating in fear, silence, hunger and tears.
We throw parties while the future cries for help.
May God arise and defend His heritage. 🇳🇬💔

Oh how sharp the serpent wrestled
Subtle, quick, unseen.
He moves not with a shout but a whisper —
not with force, but with suggestion.

He appears not with horns and fire,
but with charm, light, timing, and convenience.
He gives you what you want, not what you need —
and calls it “God’s hand.”

He cloaks himself in peace,
yet war crouches beneath the silence.

He hands you a job and sales that fits your dreams,
but pulls you from your calling.

He gives you a partner who feels like peace,
but her presence starves your purpose.

He sends a man who prays,
but not one who obeys.

He leads you to platforms before you're ready,
then watches as pride devours you on stage.

He opens doors God didn’t knock on,
then calls it “favor.”

He copies the voice of God,
but lacks His fragrance.

He tells you “you’re ready”
while heaven is still training you in private.

To the youth, he comes as freedom —
“do what you want, it’s your truth.”
But slowly, you wake up *owned* by the very choices
you once celebrated.

He makes sin look like self-expression.

He wraps bo***ge in beauty.

He baptizes compromise in comfort.

He sells distractions as destiny.

And when you finally fall,
he disappears —
then returns to accuse you
with the very trap he laid.

Oh how sharp the serpent wrestled.
Subtle, quick, unseen.

But the Spirit of Truth still speaks —
if you would be still, and listen.

📜 Flesh vs Spirit – The Battle of Lust
_(Revelation based)_

Man is a threefold being: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
But here is the mystery — the spirit and the flesh both want to be the boss. Two masters cannot sit in the same office (Galatians 5:17). That is why the Bible says, “the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.”

The soul (your mind, will, emotions) is never neutral. It will always follow whichever force is stronger — the spirit or the flesh.

👉 Flesh fuels lust.
👉 Spirit fuels living fire.

How Lust Reigns

When the spirit of a youth is weak, the flesh dominates. The body whispers: _“Bro, it’s time to masturbate.”_ You say no, but because your spirit is underfed, you slip and fall. Many youths lose because their flesh is stronger than their spirit.

*How to Conquer Lust*

To overcome lust, you must intentionally weaken the flesh and strengthen the spirit.

1. Feed your spirit – with the Word (Colossians 3:16), prayer (Jude 1:20), Fasting and meditation (Joshua 1:8).

2. Starve your flesh – not only by fasting food (Matthew 17:21), but by denying its cravings: that pleasure, that purchase, that indulgence. Even saying no to a wristwatch you crave is training the flesh to bow.

3. Stay consistent – the stronger side will always rule. If the spirit grows mighty, it will crush the flesh and silence lust.

*Final Word*

Romans 8:13 says: *“If you live after the flesh, you will die; but if through the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”

Youth, the victory is not in trying harder, but in feeding the Spirit until it rules.
Let the fire of God consume your desire, and lust will lose its grip.
