“The Roots of Sin”
Hmm…
Sin is not born in a moment,
It grows in silence,
From habits we excuse
And choices we refuse to correct.
Sin comes from shameful behaviour,
When conscience whispers
But pride shouts louder.
From a mad attitude,
Where right feels wrong
And wrong feels free,
Where wisdom is mocked
And self-control is buried.
From an embarrassing lifestyle,
That parades darkness as pleasure,
Laughs at correction,
And trades dignity for desire.
Sin is not sudden—
It is cultivated,
Watered by neglect,
And harvested in regret.
Quote
“Hmm! Sin comes from shameful behaviour—
acts done without respect for self or others.
It grows from a mad attitude,
where pride replaces wisdom
and recklessness silences reason.
Sin finally thrives in an embarrassing lifestyle,
where values are abandoned,
discipline is rejected,
and disgrace is worn without remorse.”
Illustrations for Clear Understanding my
1. Shameful Behaviour
Illustration:
A student who cheats repeatedly in exams, not because they are ignorant, but because they feel “everyone does it.”
➡️ Shameful behaviour ignores honesty and integrity.
Lesson:
When shame disappears, sin finds a home.
2. Mad Attitude
Illustration:
A person who insults advice, mocks correction, and believes rules are meant for others—not them.
➡️ Madness here means moral confusion, not insanity.
Lesson:
When attitude rejects wisdom, destruction becomes entertainment.
3. Embarrassing Lifestyle
Illustration:
Someone who lives carelessly—addicted to lies, immorality, or violence—and proudly displays it without guilt.
➡️ A lifestyle that should provoke correction now invites applause.
Lesson:
When embarrassment turns into pride, sin becomes normalized.
Summary
Sin does not begin with action;
it begins with attitude,
matures in behaviour,
and survives through lifestyle.
