You wandered the road desperate life
With peace and tranquility
You laboured to enter into eternal rest
With joy of visual sight on your abode

Though it was hard to let go
For your presence with seems irreplaceable
But you beckoned to leave this restless world
For the angels await your triumphant arrival

Your departure has been hard on me
Many times have I lost a manly backup
Your wife has been excellent though
Many times she's done what you would have done

If possible Papa, look back and check on us
Although your granddaughter copied your looks
We have a hope that you are not far
Your wife and children miss your love

Rest on till we meet to rest together
At the feet of Christ who rescued us at the foot of the cross
With God the Father beyond the river
Twill be the sweetest experience ever had
