Superiority of the First Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah
On the authority of Ibn Abbas (R.A) said: Allaah's Messenger ﷺ said: “There are no days in which good deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these days,” (referring to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.)
The companions then asked: O Messenger of Allaah, not even jihad in Allaah's Cause? He ﷺ replied: “Not even jihad in Allaah's Cause, except for a man who went out with his soul and his wealth, and did not return with anything from that.”
Narrated by Al-Bukhari, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, and others.
