“God showed me he/she was my kingdom spouse.”
“But are they still walking with God?”
This is a hard truth many peopley ignore.
Someone can genuinely be in God’s will for you at a particular season and later step out of alignment through consistent disobedience, rebellion, pride, compromise, or refusal to follow God’s direction.
Look at King Saul.
God Himself chose Saul to be king. He was anointed, appointed, and favored. Yet, because of repeated disobedience, God rejected him.
The throne remained, but Saul lost the grace to occupy it.
This is why destiny is not sustained by prophecy alone. It is sustained by obedience.
Not everyone God connected you to yesterday is still walking on the same path today. People change. Hearts shift. Some draw closer to God while others drift away.
Stop holding onto “what God said years ago” when the present fruits clearly show a different direction.
God is not confused.
He sees beyond emotions.
He knows who is still aligned with His purpose and who has departed from it.
Sometimes, the greatest act of love is letting go of someone who no longer walks with God the way they once did.
Alignment matters.
Obedience matters.
Continuous surrender matters.
Even Saul was chosen once… until he was no longer.
