Prayer is not the mindless recitation of a set of things. When the believer prays it is from the standpoint that God is our father.
A fruitful devotional life has structure-concictency and dilligence. Christ is the central theme of Scriptures and they are various ways to study God's word.
The bible is a divinely inspired book that contains the wisdom of God-not to be neglected. God's word is pure and complete.
📍 How can you create or sustain a structure you put in place when you're engaged with other church activites?
Devotion is to be done consistently and dilligently regardless of what comes before and after.
Devotion is communion in a relationship with God and communication is key. Talk to God about it all!
📍 Is God angry with my inconsistent devotions?
God is a good God - A Father who knows what will come. God is never caught unawares, He knows you'll make mistakes-He knows you're human snd His response to your inconsistency is Love.
The one who loses out on an inconsistent Devotion is you. Grow in the conciousness that Growth is steady and not sudden, so when you miss a day or two-GO BACK! God is right there waiting for you
Accountability is important to note as well-Be accountable to God, to people around you. Don't cower or deceive yourself-Be sincere with God and people around you.
📍 How can you differentiate between God'd voice and your inner person talking to you?
The human heart is funny, By staying with God's word and by practicing we come to understand the differences.
Stability is built steadily. Getting Godly counsels is very important - Stay with men of like passion.
