Different Meanings of christmas to
people have left me baffled and
taken-aback but it has made me
realise how ignorant many have
been,are and will be for as long as the
birth of Christ is misinterpreted to people, yesterday left me pondering
on what today will be like and some of
the first thought i had was of
food,partying, and i'm sure most
people will fall into my category,
whereas the main thing that should fill our thoughts are why today is a
special day, why Jesus had to come
into the world,why he had to die,why
he had to ascend leaving us with the
Holy Spirit, and what we are expected
to do in return.To some people today is all about showing off with their new
clothes, eating to their fill,getting gifts
either monetary or not,throwing
knockouts,adultery,fornication
,drinking,stealing,and other nefarious
activities. What is your own definition of Jesus? What does today mean to
you? Jesus is saying "I gave myself to
you,I died for you,so as to redeem
you,I suffered for you,What have you
done for me?
