The dark truth of life that many people are unprepared to discover is that life is not fair. No matter how hard you work, how good you are, or how much you deserve something, there will always be someone who has it better than you. Someone who was born with more talent, more money, more luck, or more connections. Someone who can get away with anything and still be loved and admired by everyone. Someone who can eat whatever they want and never gain weight. Someone who can sleep for 10 hours every night and still have energy to spare. Someone who can make jokes that are actually funny and not just awkward. Someone who can find true love without even trying. Someone who can travel the world without worrying about anything. Someone who can live a happy and fulfilling life without ever facing any challenges or hardships.
You might think that this person is fictional, but they are not. They exist. And they are probably your neighbor, your coworker, your friend, or your crush. And they don't even know how lucky they are. They take everything for granted and complain about trivial things like the weather or the traffic or the wifi signal. They don't appreciate what they have and they don't care about anyone else but themselves.
And you hate them.
You hate them with every fiber of your being.
You wish you could be them.
But you can't.
Because life is not fair.
