Tomorrow is for Testimonies, Teachings and Thanksgiving.
What an awesome time to thank God, Recount His faithfulness and Proclaim His Goodness.
See you then!

In the evening, we will converge by 10pm for a combined watch-night / crossover service where we'll decree words of life for the new year, and pray powerfully towards it.

Come with expectations, God is ready to meet with you at the point of your needs.

What a great time we had in church yesterday. Amidst the fun and laughter, we received the word expressly on Managing Heartbreak.

Though trust is important in every relationship, it also causes pain when it is broken.

So, how do you manage heartbreak? Here are four steps to be taken to manage heartbreak as taught by our mother, Pastor Folake Alade;^

1. Acknowledge: the first step in managing heartbreak is to acknowledge it. Instead of trying to numb your pain, ignore your feelings, or deny what happened, be honest with yourself and accept it. The pain of living in denial is worst than the heartbreak.

2. Focus on yourself: once you accept that they are no more with you, shift the attention to yourself. Focus on building yourself and expanding your mind by reading books, going for training, picking a new hobby, volunteering for a good cause... Do what makes you happy.

3. Learn to be in a platonic relationship without getting attached to anyone: enjoy the company 0f friends but give yourself enough time to heal before going into another relationship. Don't be in a hurry to move on.

Also, do not look for your old relationship in your new relationship. Keep an open mind and be willing to welcome the 'new'.

4. Get close to God and let Him heal your broken heart. Heartbreak is hard, but let go and let God have His way. His plans for you are good and He will definitely bring you to an expected end.

Lastly, you are encouraged to guard your heart with all diligence, for it determines the course of your life. God bless you.
