ETERNAL LIFE: THE PROMISE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Believing rightly converts promise into reality. Not every belief leads to eternal life, for many believe wrongly and deny them access to eternal life.
Some believe that Jesus is just one of the prophets. Some believe it is one of the greatest philosophers that ever live. Even the devil believes He is the Son of God but refutes His redemptive works. The belief that guarantees Eternal Life is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died, buried and on the third day He ressurected. 1Cor.15:3-4.
The promise of God is not an empty promise but highly loaded.
The promise of God is the only escape route from death to life, from curses to blessings and from darkness to light.
The content of God's promise is Eternal Life.
What is Eternal Life? John 17:3
Eternal life according to the scripture is knowing God and knowing Jesus.
Eternal Life is the infusion of divine nature in a believer that influences them to live Christ-kind life here on earth.
Eternal Life is not a futuristic experience as many believe. It is NOW. It can be referred to as heaven on earth lifestyles.
Eternal Life makes you conscious of who you are (Identity) and what you have. Eternal Life expresses the nature of God which is LOVE. It makes believers operate in the same capacity of God and put us in the class of God. ...by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:4 NKJV
Therefore, Eternal Life becomes the Reality of Every Believer in Christ Jesus.
I affirm today that I have eternal life. I possess life bound with love. The DNA of Christ runs in me. Glory be to God. Amen.
