A Painful Goodbye to My Father, Boss & Role Model 🕊️💔
I still find it difficult to believe that you are gone. 💔
Veteran actor Taiwo “Azan Ogogo”, you were more than just my boss. You were my father, my mentor, my role model, and one of the people who made acting meaningful and interesting to me.
I grew up watching you portray characters that reflected goodness, wisdom and godliness. The way you acted inspired something in me. You made me look at acting differently and made me want to become part of that world.
But beyond the screen, I knew you as a good man, a generous man, and a man with a heart for others. Your kindness, your guidance and the impact you had on my life are things I will carry with me forever.
Your place in my life can never be replaced. You were a father to me. You were my boss. You were my inspiration. You were my role model. You were so much more than words can adequately express.
Losing you is deeply painful, but I am grateful to Allah for allowing our paths to cross and for giving me the privilege of knowing and learning from you.
Your voice may be silent, but your legacy will continue to speak.
Rest well, my father, my boss, my mentor and my role model. 🕊️💔
May Allah forgive your shortcomings, have mercy upon you, illuminate your grave, grant you Al-Jannatul Firdaus and give your family, loved ones and all of us who mourn you the strength to bear this painful loss.
You will never be forgotten. Your place in my heart is forever.
