The Plans We Make

We make our plans, with careful thought,
But God's wise ways, our paths are brought.
(Proverbs 16:1)

Don't fret, don't worry, don't be dismayed,
Trust in the Lord, your future's displayed.
Delight in Him, He'll give you your heart's desire,
Rest in His love, your soul on fire.

(Psalm 37:1-8)

We think we know, but what do we see?
Only God's Spirit, reveals what's to be!
(1 Corinthians 2:12)

Let's surrender, our will to His way,
And trust His plans, for a brighter day.
For He knows best, and loves us so dear,
And His wisdom, will calm all our fear.

STRONG TOWER.

In Proverbs 18:10, it says, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." This imagery evokes a sense of strength, protection, and refuge that we can find in God.

Imagine a towering fortress, unshakable and immovable, standing tall amidst the storms of life. This is the representation of God as our strong tower. He is our refuge and source of strength in times of trouble. In Deuteronomy 33:27, it says, "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."

When we face challenges, uncertainties, or trials, we can run to God and find safety in His presence. Just as a physical tower provides security and a vantage point to survey the surroundings, God gives us a perspective that goes beyond our limited understanding.

No matter what giants we may face or how overwhelming the battles may seem, God's strength is greater. When we feel weak, we can lean on Him for support and find renewed courage. In 2 Samuel 22:33, it says, "God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect."

Let us take comfort in knowing that God is not only our strong tower but also our fortress, defender, and provider. He is our refuge in times of need, and through Him, we can find solace, peace, and unwavering strength.

As you navigate life, may the understanding of God as your strong tower give you confidence and reassurance that you are never alone. Amen!!

In Ezekiel 34:1-10, the prophet Ezekiel delivers a message from God to the shepherds, who are the leaders and rulers of the people of Israel. God accuses these shepherds of not taking care of His flock, but rather taking advantage of them for their own gain. The shepherds were neglecting their responsibilities by not feeding the sheep, not seeking out the lost, and not healing the injured. Instead, they were ruling with harshness and selfishness, causing the sheep to be scattered and vulnerable to their enemies.

Through this passage, God emphasizes His deep concern for His people and His righteous judgment. He states that He Himself will search for His lost sheep and rescue them from where they have been scattered. He will gather them, provide them with good pasture, and become their Shepherd. God promises to bring justice to the shepherds who have failed their flock and to establish a covenant of peace with His people.

Now, let's turn to Luke 15:1-10, where Jesus tells two parables - the Parable of the Lost Sheep and the Parable of the Lost Coin. In these parables, Jesus highlights the value that God places on each individual and His relentless pursuit of those who are lost.

In the Parable of the Lost Sheep, Jesus speaks of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine sheep in the open country to search for the one that has wandered away. When he finds the lost sheep, he rejoices and carries it back on his shoulders. Jesus uses this parable to illustrate the immense joy that heaven experiences when one repentant sinner is found.

Both of these parables convey the message that God deeply cares for each individual and seeks to bring them back into a relationship with Him. They reveal God's compassion, patience, and active pursuit of those who have strayed. Just as the shepherd and the woman rejoice over finding what was lost, God and the angels rejoice over the repentance and return of a sinner.

THE PLOUGH
Luke 9:62 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

In Luke 9:62, Jesus uses the analogy of "the plough" to teach a lesson about commitment and dedication in following him. The verse states, "Jesus replied, 'No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'"

The plough is a farming tool used for tilling the soil and preparing it for planting crops. It requires the full attention and focus of the farmer to ensure straight furrows and efficient work. In this context, Jesus uses the plough as a metaphor for discipleship and the commitment required to follow him.

By stating that anyone who looks back while ploughing is not fit for service in the kingdom of God, Jesus emphasizes the importance of unwavering dedication. Looking back while ploughing can lead to crooked lines and ineffective work. Similarly, being distracted or divided in one's commitment to Jesus can hinder spiritual growth and effectiveness in serving God's kingdom.

This verse highlights the need for disciples of Jesus to prioritize their relationship with him above all else. It calls for a wholehearted commitment, leaving behind any distractions or attachments that may hinder one's spiritual journey. It implies that following Jesus requires perseverance, focus, and a willingness to let go of anything that may hold one back.

Furthermore, Jesus' statement in Luke 9:62 suggests that discipleship is not an easy path. It requires sacrifice and a willingness to leave behind familiar comforts or worldly desires. The plough symbolizes hard work and perseverance in the face of challenges and obstacles. Just as a farmer must endure physical labor to cultivate the land, disciples of Jesus may encounter difficulties and hardships along their spiritual journey.

WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOESN'T EXIST!!
Luke 1:37.
Isaiah 43:14.
Matthew 19:26.

This signifies that if God cannot do something, then that thing does not exist. This implies that God is the ultimate authority and creator of everything that exists. Therefore, if there is something that God cannot do, it means that it is beyond his power and does not exist.

However, this statement raises some questions about the nature of God. If God is all-powerful, then why would there be anything that he cannot do? Some argue that this statement contradicts the idea of an omnipotent God.

Additionally, this statement assumes the existence of God in the first place, which is a matter of faith and belief. Those who do not believe in God may not agree with this statement.

It also means God is capable of turning the irreversible to reversible things.
1. Loaves of bread...Matthew 14:20.
2. Walking on the sea... Matthew 14:25.
3. Turning water to wine...John 2:7.

In conclusion, "what God cannot do doesn't exist" is a statement that reflects a particular belief system and interpretation of the nature of God. It is open to debate and interpretation, depending on one's beliefs and understanding of the concept of God.

HE FIRSTLY LOVED US.

God is the first to implant love in minds. When God wanted to create man in His image, He wondered how their living would be, and so he created space, a place of abode, for us to live in, and to procreate - Genesis 1.

Now is the time for us to love Him back. He perfected everything for us because He loved us and now is the time we have to love Him back.

This was the same love God had for us until when sin came in existence and He had to use Jesus, His only begotten Son, to bring us back to Himself - 1 John 2:1-2.

We have to pay Him back. How? We have to love Him back, by accepting Him fully into our lives, by surrendering our lives totally to Him, by having a sincere heart towards the things of God - Luke 9:62.

Revelation 21:1-5.
