My journey to Bayelsa was fruitful, impactful and filled with so much love. I was not alone because I was surrounded by my people, the wonderful WMU in Bayelsa Conference! 💜

From the WMS, Lydias, GAs and Sunbeams, you all came out in your numbers to give me such a warm and beautiful welcome. And, of course, you did not let me leave empty-handed! 😂❤️ The generous gifts, delicious Bayelsa delicacies and other wonderful surprises were truly appreciated.

I sincerely appreciate the WMU President and Director of Bayelsa Conference for their dedication, commitment and continued support for the work of BWMU Nigeria.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you all and cause Bayelsa Conference to flourish and move forward in Jesus’ name. Thank you for making me feel at home. God bless you all!

Our husbands called, and we answered! When the men say, “We want to hear from our wives,” good wives know there is no need to pretend not to hear! So, we showed up, and what an incredible experience it was!

Yesterday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, I had the privilege of joining other virtuous women of God at the MMU Congress for a very insightful and engaging panel discussion on “The Expectations of Wives from their Husbands.” It was a beautiful opportunity to share, listen, learn and have meaningful conversations about marriage, love, leadership and the responsibilities that come with building a godly home.

During the discussion, I emphasised that a husband can only truly love his wife and meet her needs in the right way when he first submits himself to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. When a man allows the Holy Spirit to lead him, his love becomes more than words; it becomes sacrificial, intentional, patient and Christ-centred.

I sincerely appreciate the Men’s Missionary Union of Nigeria (MMU) for the privilege to be part of this important conversation and for the great work you are doing in the lives of our men. Thank you for creating spaces where men can grow spiritually, strengthen their families and become better kingdom leaders.
This was indeed a beautiful collaboration, and I look forward to many more opportunities for the men and women to learn, grow and serve together for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

To all our wonderful men at the Congress, I wish you a fruitful and impactful remainder of the Congress. May God continue to strengthen you, increase you and make you godly examples in your homes, churches, workplaces and communities.

And as you journey back home, may the Lord grant you journey mercies and bring you safely back to your loved ones.

The just-concluded BWUWA Biennial Conference was truly an awesome and unforgettable experience. To God be all the glory! Our Baptist women came out in their numbers, and it was beautiful to witness the unity, strength and passion that bind us together as women committed to God’s Kingdom and the Baptist denomination.

The conference gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect and network with our sisters from different countries, share experiences, learn from one another, and participate in activities that celebrate and promote our identity, values and mission as Baptists.

I was particularly grateful for the privilege to address and update our sisters on the work and activities of the Baptist Women’s Missionary Union of Nigeria (BWMU Nigeria). It was also inspiring to hear reports from other organisations, including the Girls’ Auxiliary and Lydia Auxiliary, as we celebrated what God is doing through our women and girls across different spheres.

And then came another humbling moment, I was entrusted with the mantle of leadership as the new President of BWUWA. I receive this responsibility with deep humility, knowing fully well that this position is not by my strength, wisdom or qualification, but by the grace of God alone. I am trusting Him completely to guide me, strengthen me, and give me the wisdom needed to serve His people faithfully.

As we step into this new chapter, I believe strongly that we are moving forward! There is more to accomplish, more lives to touch, more women to empower, more younger generations to raise, and more territories to reach for Christ.

There is no stopping us! By God’s grace, we will keep advancing, keep serving, keep impacting and keep lifting the banner of Christ higher.

To all our Baptist women across West Africa and beyond, the journey continues, and the best is yet to come! Together, under God’s leading, we will move forward for the glory of His name.

Forward ever, backward never!

On Sunday, 9 August 2026, my husband, Deacon Aderemi Samuel Olalere, was ordained as one of the deacons at Blessed Baptist Church, Ibadan. What a beautiful and humbling moment of grace!

I see this ordination not merely as a position, but as another call to serve God and an additional responsibility entrusted to our family for the expansion of His Kingdom. It is a privilege we do not take for granted.
As God continues to strengthen and help me, I am committed to standing firmly beside my husband, supporting and encouraging him as he embraces this new assignment. My prayer is that God will grant him wisdom, strength, grace and a servant’s heart to fulfil this calling faithfully.
To everyone who came to celebrate with us and witness this special milestone, thank you from the depths of our hearts. Your presence, prayers and love mean so much to us. ❤️
As we step into this new chapter, we pray that the ministry will continue to flourish in our hands, that our lives will bring glory to God, and that we will never disappoint the One who has called us.
May our service always point people to Christ, and may God use our family for the advancement of His Kingdom.
