Yesterday, Nigeria celebrated.

The abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire, Oyo State, finally regained their freedom. Their families wept tears of joy. Homes that had been filled with fear and uncertainty came alive again with hope.

But one home remained silent.

The family of Michael Oyedokun had no one to welcome home.

While other parents, spouses and children embraced their loved ones, the Oyedokun family could only remember a man who left home to teach, only to pay the ultimate price for simply doing his job. He never got the chance to experience the joy that every other rescued victim experienced yesterday.

As we celebrate the rescue, let us not allow Michael Oyedokun's sacrifice to disappear into the background.

The Federal Government and the Oyo State Government owe him more than a passing mention. His family deserves more than condolences. They deserve the support of a grateful nation. Let his wife, children, parents and loved ones know that the country Michael served has not forgotten him.

Immortalize him.

Name a school, a scholarship, or a public institution after him. Let every child who walks through its gates remember that there was once a teacher who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.

And beyond honouring Michael Oyedokun, let his death become a reminder that Nigeria cannot continue to celebrate successful rescues while accepting the conditions that make these tragedies possible. The real victory will be the day no child is kidnapped from school, and no teacher has to die simply for educating the next generation.

As the rescued children begin life again with their families, may we never forget the family that is beginning life without Michael Oyedokun.

May his soul rest in perfect peace

51 Days in Captivity... Let's Not Forget Them.

Today marks 51 days since these precious lives were taken. Their families continue to wait, pray, and hope for their safe return.

Let us unite in faith and lift our voices to God for their speedy and unharmed release. May every chain be broken, every evil plan fail, and may they be reunited with their loved ones in Jesus' name.

Please also remember the Oyo victims in your prayers. No family should have to endure this pain alone.

Join me in prayer, and kindly share this post so more people can stand in faith together.

When a man carries grace, he carries an authority that overrules every opposing authority and every power of darkness.

"And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me." — Nehemiah 2:8

As **** said, "When a man carries grace, he carries authority that defies the authority of every other power."

This week, may the grace of God speak for you. May every closed door open, every resistance bow, and every divine opportunity locate you. You will walk in uncommon favor, undeniable authority, and unstoppable breakthroughs, in Jesus' name. Amen!
