THE LAW OF NON-RESISTANCE
Resistance and resentment come because we believe in two powers: good vs evil, instead of one power: The Father.
The only power in the universe or multiverses is God. Evil is an illusion powered by the mortal mind, the carnal mind also called the satanic mind.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?
Every other power apart from God is a non power. With this in mind, we now know that all things work together for our good. We also know all that is mine shall come to me.
Matthew 5:44-45 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
When we bless our enemies they lose the power to harm us. For their ability to harm is sourced from our resistance of them, our fear of their influence on or against us. Our mind is the power base of their power over us.
Jesus said "Take no thought..". What we give thought or attention is empowered for or against us. If it is an opposing influence it harms us, if it is a benevolent influence it blesses us. So we become careful how we think or talk.
The law of nonresistance is the law that governs the kingdom of God, for God fills all the interspaces of life, and there is none other.
Isaiah 43:11 I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.
Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God.
Isaiah 45:5 I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isaiah 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.
The passages above show that there is no other reality or power apart from God. Any other contrary existence is because we focus on 'lying vanities' so we forsake the mercy of God in our lives and affairs- Jonah 2:8.
We resent people because we believe they had power to influence us.
We fear people so we compete with them. But whatever God does is forever- Ecclesiastes 3:14. Only what God does is forever and He does only good.
In the God economy there is no competition for nothing is short supply. God is the never ending supply of goodness and love. Another man's supply does not diminish your own. There is enough abundance to go round each person in the world.
There is really no poverty in the world. It is an illusion made by man and powered by belief systems and cultures.
There is no danger in the God atmosphere for He is the very air we breathe and the Light we walk in. He is closer to us than our breathe, nearer to us than our hands. Only what we need us to stay on Him, for, Isaiah 26:3 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You,] Because he trusts in You.
The more we see Him in all things and all people the more He manifests Himself to us. Situations are results not causes therefore the focus is on the cause which is God.
As long as Peter focus on the Lord within Him, he was able to walk on water, but immediately he became focused on the outer life, he gave power to the waters to swallow him. But his saving prayer was to refocus on the Lord within Him not against his enemies.
Matthew 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye RESIST NOT EVIL: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Why did Jesus say, resist not evil...? Because there is no evil in reality. We give power to whatever we resist. We are gods made in the similitude of God. Having power to create both good and evil.
Isaiah 45:7 I (God)form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].
Numbers 14:28 Say to them, 'As I live,' says the LORD, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Man is the image of God and His likeness. Man possesses the abilities of God which is to create whatever is formed in his consciousness. We eventually outpicture whatever we see inside us.
For the CHRIST is Consciousness revealed.
Man is capable of creating both good and evil by what he says vocally or mentally which has emotions backing it up.
Anything that forms a man's mental obsession is what he creates. So we, focusing on lying vanities, create such evil in this material world, we create demons, diseases, poverty, hostile situations, physical enemies, barriers to success, death. We mix our imaginations, visions, thoughts, words, beliefs with emotions of fear, envy, jealousy, hatred, passion, etc and so give birth in the outer life that which we have created inwardly. We create demons by our prayers,words and thoughts. This is the eternal principle of creation.
We created satan, for check in the Bible , God never created satan. That is why he will be destroyed because whatever God does is forever, it does not vanish or get annihilated.
So armed with this how do we live? We live without resistance to evil either in words, thoughts ,actions or in prayers. We bless every situation, person, thing we encounter because we know they have no power to influence us. This is the consciousness that Jesus Christ walked in on earth.
Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, [yet when] He was afflicted, He was submissive and opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
Jesus in yielding to death, destroyed the power (illusory power) of death. He applied the principle of nonresistance and succumbed to the Father's will so delivered mankind from the bo***ge of darkness.
We must be driven by the inward man which is precious in the sight of God. It is only the inner man that can contact God. The outer man wants to save itself and cannot, so it resists and resents but the inner man being in communion with God, is the only one that can follow the Mind of God despite the outer situation.
Learn to bless your enemies for indeed you have no enemies.
Jesus knew he had no physical enemies in reality when He said, " "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." Luke 23:34a.
He knew that it was only the influence of darkness that propels men made in God's image to assume wickedness and evil against their fellow image bearers. So He targeted His prayers at the real enemies: spiritual darkness which is personified as satan.
Forgiveness is the gift of God in man. Whom you forgive on earth is forgiven in heaven. In order to be free from resistance and resentment always release the power of forgiveness towards mankind. Forgiveness cancels the law of sin and death in you as you forgive others.
Forgiveness cancels the power of evil to harm or hurt you when you forgive.
For did Jesus not teach: Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect?
Forgiveness is therefore not weakness but spiritual strength and wisdom. It is the nature of the enlightened ones on earth.
We must be as God in order to manifest as God. God is God because He does not resist, does not judge, does not resent. Does not fear. Does not compete,etc.
He is a very present Help in time of need (Ps 46:1).
He doesn't judge evil, sin, good, righteousness. He simply IS!
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Jesus taught the doctrine of the Kingdom which is the domain of God, i.e. how God functions.
When He said "judge not' He means that since God does not judge nor condemn, you as the image of God must also not judge or condemn.
To manifest the powers of God we must exhibit His nature and character.
We struggle with spiritual power and anointing all because we miss the core principle behind it: to manifest as God, we must act as God.
Didn't Jesus demonstrate this? Didn't He manifest powers over nature,diseases,demons, etc?
How and why? (Study this on you own).
And what does He mean by saying," ...judgement is committed to the Son?"
Well the Son is the Word of God which manifests God. He is the speaking Spirit of God. So His speaking is called judgement. Whatever He decrees stands. God does not speak nor show Himself only through the Son. Now the Son is mindful to speak only that which He hears or sees the Father say or do:
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I (the Son) speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
The Son is the One that speaks or declares the Father's will. Judgement comes by announcement or decree.
So only the Son can judge and yet He must judge or speak forth in accordance with the Father, or else He creates something which is not from the Father!
In Luke 9:51 to 55 we see the Son in manifestation as Jesus taught His disciples how the Son judges.
Luke 9:51-52 Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him.
Jesus was going to Jerusalem through Samaria.
Luke 9:53-54 But they did not receive Him, because His face was [set] for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw [this,] they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?"
And the disciples,being in training on spiritual power and authority, wanted to test the power of the Christ that Jesus was activating in them, but they didn't understand that the Father has committed all judgement to the Son who in turn must Judge according to the Father's will. So they asked Jesus to allow them 'create evil' (the Son creates by judging, remember?) by sending thunder against the Samaritans.
Does it sound familiar in our times when some ministers boast that they have power to kill erring members in their congregation?
They do not understand the mystery of the Christ or the Son!
See Jesus response to those sons of Thunder who wanted to kill their fellow brethren made in God's image and likeness by releasing judgment and resistance:
Luke 9:55-56 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save [them.]" And they went to another village.
In order words Jesus is saying that the Spirit of the Son of God within man only speaks what the Father wills and yet the Father loves creation for they are His. He does not kill nor destroy His own for there no other power beside Him. We kill what we fear, don't we?
The Son is the Word and the Word is the Christ. So we begin to see the mystery behind creations in the earth. For know ye not that all mankind are Christ or the Body of Christ?
We create what we judge on earth. God is not the one judging or condemn but we.
Our heart and conscience condemn us, 1John3:20 and Heb9:14.
And our sins finds us out and repays us, Numbers 32:23.
So the solution is that we begin to live in good conscience towards all men
Acts 24:16 This] [being] [ so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.]
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, [from] a good conscience, and [from] sincere faith.
Finally, the Father is the only power because He is the law of our being and love towards all things. So nothing can touch the Father and he who walks as the Father is touched by nothing.
Matthew 5:38-45 "You have heard that it was said, [ 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.']
But I tell you
1. not to resist evil. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
2.If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have [your] cloak also.
3. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
4. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
"You have heard that it was said, [ 'You shall love your neighbor] and hate your enemy.' But I say to you,
1.love your enemies,
2.bless those who curse you,
3. do good to those who hate you, and
4. pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
This is the law of nonresistance as taught and lived by the Master.
This is Kingdom truth.
Learn to walk without resisting evil or judging appearances. Anytime you sense resistance ,resentment or judgement speak forth the word that neutralizes it for there is only one Power-God, all others are non power, and God is always for you and not against you. In business, work, life, ministry, daily affairs apply this principle.
Meditate on this truth until it becomes your reality: God is the only Power, beside Him there is no other.
Do not pray against enemies, pray for enemies. Do not pray for the cup to pass over you rather pray for strength and grace. This is God-consciousness. Practice aggressive focusing on God within you on daily basis. What you focus on grows.
Think it: guard your thoughts and imaginations, they have power to create both evil and good, demons and angels,etc.
Say it: mind your words for they give materiality to your imaginations and thoughts and they also create consciousness. Consciousness manifest itself in life. Success or failure in life is a product of consciousness.
Do it: always be mindful of your actions for they show the energies at work in you and yield you life outcomes.
Believe and always say words that release the power of nonresistance and nonjudgment towards all mankind.
Do you believe that every man (good or evil) is a golden link in the chain of your good?
Do you believe that all things work for your good?
Do you believe that another person's success is a pointer to your own success". So do you rejoice at another's success?
Do you believe that as long as God is for you no other thing can be against you?
Learn to bless things even negative situations,
Bless your loss of job, relationship, money, etc. and call the situation void, enforcing the fact that it is for your good.
Learn to praise God through the darkness and watch the daystar appear over you. In Christ there is nothing like loss, defeat, tragedy, fear, or danger. This is a great mystery and only by faith can the just live.
May this passage be our daily confession:
John 14:30 ... for the prince(evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has NO power over Me.]
Apart from God there is no other power. With this, we become fearless, we no longer feel intimidated by anything or anyone, for only good can come out of any situation for us who believe.
Isaiah 45:22 " Look to Me(The Father that dwells within your being), and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I [am] God, and [there is] no other(power).
