{This is a continuation of day 2’s sermon/ Ìtèsíwájú Ẹ̀kọ́ Ọjọ́ Ìkejì}
There are three stages for a complete state of Apostasy to be achieved/ Àwọn Ìpele méta ni ènìyàn yíó là kọjá kí ó tó le è Padàsẹ́hìn
1. Deterioration/Yínyìnrìn Díẹ̀ Díẹ̀ (Day 2’s sermon)
2. Backsliding/Ìpadàsẹ́hìn
3. Complete State Of Apostasy/ Ìpadàsẹ́hìn Pátápátá

2.BACKSLIDING/ÌPADÀSẸ́HÌN: This means to regress,to slip backwards or revert to a previous or worse state.
It is also a case of shriking responsibility; to renege on one’s obligations or commitment. / Ìpadàsẹ́hìn tún mọ̀ sí kí ènìyàn máa tako ohun tí ó ti gbàgbó ju bí ó ti ṣe ní àtẹ̀yìn wá Lọ.

Renege/ Ìpadàsęhìn : To break a promise or commitment (s); To go back on one’s words. / Pípadà Lórí ọ̀rọ̀ tí ènìyàn ti sọ.
Bible Readings/ Bíbèlì Kíkà: Gal. 4:1-End, Malak. 3:7-18.

The Dangers In Backsliding/ Ewu Tó Wà Nínú Ìpadàsẹ́hìn.
1. Òwe(proverbs) 14:14, Jer. 14:7, Hosea 11:7: Àpadàsẹ́hìn ni ìtẹ́lọ́rùn nínú ọ̀nà ara rẹ, ọ̀nà ara ẹni kìi ṣe nínú ọ̀nà Ọlọ́run mọ́./ Backsliding is fulfilling one’s desires, overlooking God’s own.
2. Matth. 24:12: Nítorí Ọ̀sẹ̀ yíó di púpọ̀ – Ìfẹ́ ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ yíó di tútù./ Religious Indifferences.
3. Luk. 9:62, Gal. 1:6 : Ó ń sọni di aláìyẹ láti dé ìjọba Ọlọ́run. / Unfitness for the kingdom of God.
4. Gal.4:9,3:3-5: Ìpadàsẹ́hìn nínú nkàn ara. Ajá tó padà sínú èébì rẹ̀, Ẹlẹ́dẹ̀ tí a ti fọ̀ sínú afò rẹ̀. Ah! Ewu ńlá ǹlà, àwọn tí kò leè dúró tí kò leè kojú rẹ tẹ́lẹ̀ yíó wa di adarí ayéè rẹ bó ti wù wọ́n. / Going Back in things of the flesh. A dog back into its vomit, a pig back into its mud. Those who cannot face you will become the controller of your life at their own will.
5. Heb. 10:38,Romu. 1:17, 2nd Pet. 2:20: Ìpẹ̀hìndà máa ń mú aììdunnú wá sórí ènìyàn lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run. / Backsliding brings unhappiness from God to people.
6. Rev. 2:4&5: Loss of spiritual enthusiasm. / Pípàdánù ìdùnnú nínú ẹ̀mí.
