As a minister of God, one key thing you should earnestly pray for is discernment, the spiritual insight to recognize your angel (your divinely sent helper). The moment you fail to identify or receive the one God has positioned to assist you, it can significantly hinder or delay your ministerial growth and advancement.Unless God's mercy intervenes to restore what was missed, the consequences can be lasting. We see a powerful lesson in the story of Zechariah, the priest in Luke 1. When the angel Gabriel appeared to him in the temple with a life-changing promise and assignment (the birth of John the Baptist), Zechariah doubted and questioned the messenger instead of embracing the help being offered. As a result, he was struck mute until the word came to pass, his initial lack of discernment and faith temporarily limited his ability to fully participate in and proclaim the miracle.Pray daily for sharp spiritual discernment, so you don't miss your "angel" when God sends help your way, whether through a person, an opportunity, a word, or a divine encounter. Missing it can slow your progress, but mercy can always redeem.
