Jesus calls Peter the rock upon which He will build His Church. This reminds us that God often chooses ordinary people and gives them a sacred responsibility. Peter was not perfect, yet Jesus trusted him with a great mission. In the same way, God calls each of us to strengthen the faith of those around us through our words, example, prayer, and love. We may feel weak or unworthy, but God can work through us. When we stand firmly on Christ, our lives can become foundations upon which others discover faith and hope.

The workers who laboured all day became upset when those who arrived later received the same wage. Their disappointment came from comparison. Sometimes, we make ourselves unhappy by looking at what others have received instead of appreciating Godโ€™s goodness to us. Jesus reminds us that Godโ€™s generosity is not limited by our calculations. Your journey is different from someone elseโ€™s, and God knows what you need. Instead of comparing, learn to be grateful. When we celebrate Godโ€™s blessings in others, our hearts become freer, more peaceful, and filled with joy.
