A Joyful Feast day Celebration

The celebration of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul by the SS. Peter and Paul Idoma Catholic Community, Gusau, Zamfara State, was truly a beautiful expression of faith, unity, and thanksgiving.
It was a moment of joyful worship, heartfelt prayers and a beautiful communal gathering.

May the witness of Saints Peter and Paul continue to inspire us to remain steadfast in faith, courageous in service, and committed to spreading the Gospel wherever God calls us.

We give thanks to God Almighty for the successful celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Holy Childhood Association in our parish yesterday.
It was a beautiful day filled with joy, thanksgiving, prayers, and cherished memories as we celebrated God's faithfulness throughout the years. We are deeply grateful to all our parents, animators, patrons, matrons, and well-wishers whose presence, support, and contributions made the celebration a memorable one.
May the blessings of this Silver Jubilee continue to inspire our children to grow in faith and love, and may God abundantly bless each and every one of us.

Happy Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima!
As we celebrate today the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, we entrust our parish, our families, and our entire land into the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary. May she continue to intercede for us, strengthen our faith, and lead us always to her Son, Jesus Christ.

From a small mission station in the 1950s to a strong and vibrant parish community today, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Gusau, has remained a symbol of God’s presence in North-West Nigeria.
Founded through the missionary efforts of the Dominican Fathers and Sisters under the Diocese of Sokoto, the parish has witnessed decades of evangelization, education, healthcare outreach, and community development. Schools were built, clinics established, vocations nurtured, and countless lives touched through the dedication and sacrifices of priests, religious, and faithful parishioners.
Despite the challenges of insecurity and hardship in our environment, the parish has continued to stand firm in faith through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima.
Today, we proudly prepare to celebrate our 70th Anniversary — a celebration of God’s faithfulness, missionary sacrifice, unity, and growth.
Join us as we celebrate 70 years of spreading the Gospel, serving humanity, and keeping the Catholic faith alive in this part of the world.

We joyfully celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Dominican presence in Nigeria, together with the Dominicans in our Parish. We thank God for His faithfulness in sustaining your mission of service in this nation for seventy-five years.
As a parish, we unite in thanksgiving to God for your invaluable contributions to the growth of the Church in our nation, and we pray that He, who has begun this good work, will continue to sustain and strengthen you in your apostolate.
