According to the levitical priesthood which was the old testament, animals where distinguished into clean and unclean animal groups. There were criterias given that defined under the old covenant what animal was clean and which was improper.

Moreso, the dragon and the owl fall under the category of unclean beast as ordained by the teaching of Moses. However, Isaiah spoke by the Holy Ghost saying the new thing God was doing integrated both the dragon and owl and by that absorbed all other unclean animal because God works cleanness in them through Christ Jesus.

Bringing to memory the story of Peter in Jopa, how he had a trance, seeing a sheet brought down from heaven containing all manner of unclean beast. A voice spoke from the heavens instructing Peter to eat and he refused stating that he has never had any unclean meat for food all his life. God in the fullness of His grace reproved Peter saying "what God have cleansed, do not call unclean" Acts 10:9-16.

Therefore, God speaking through Isaiah using the dragon and the owl as a case in point for all gentile (unbelieving) nation, made clear that they would be His people and He will be their God.

Finally, by the blood (sacrifices) of Jesus, we all have been washed, made clean and given the right to be called the sons of God.

- 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟒𝟑:𝟏𝟗-𝟐𝟏 (KJV).

God says that He does a new thing and He asked that you see it. How do you see it? He said look, I am making the wilderness a way and the desert rivers so that my people can drink.

This exclusively implies that God is making a way where it was said there was no way and He is turning barren grounds to fruitful fields.

Much more, it boldly means you will find my people in the place once called a wilderness and desert. Just as it was said, can any good thing come out of Nazareth? See that God is a Mastercraft when it comes to making honourable those whom the world have despised and forsaken.

Finally, God says that the dragons and the owls shall honour Him simply because He now calls them my people. Just as Hosea 2:13 says "I will say to them which were not my people, you are my people" showing the dispensation of the grace of God towards the whole world and not to the nation of Israel only. God has chosen you and there is no other more special before God than you—neither are you more special than others, knowing that in the grand scheme of things we are all one in Christ Jesus; one spirit, one body, one people.

- 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐡 𝟓:𝟓 (KJV).

How the scriptures foretold that Christ will be our peace when the enemy invades our territory. This was spoken by the Prophet Micah refecting peace as the new thing God does.

Much more, Ephesians 2:14 says that Christ Jesus is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the wall of partition that separated us. This shows that in those days, the adversary of the people where the Assyrians (a gentile nation) whilst in the new testament (the work of God) the enemy is Satan who is the spirit of evil. This is why the new testament teaches that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against wicked spirits in high places and yes we have victory over them through Jesus who has made us seat in places of authority higher than the influence and power of these wicked spirits.

The man that has Christ in him will know such a peace that cannot be corrupted because Jesus is called the Prince of Peace.

Embrace peace both with yourself and with all men today through the knowledge (message, gospel) of our Lord Jesus Christ because that is the new thing God has done for you.

- 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟗:𝟑𝟎 (KJV).

Jesus saying it is finished meant that He fulfilled all that the Prophets had said about the coming of God in the flesh of man, to the earth, bringing salvation and peace to all of the human race. He died for man because of His great love for man and rose from the dead on the third day.

He was following a prophetic script declared throughout the scriptures as regards salvation for man. When He got to the last part of the script, they gave him a vinegar drink on Calvary's Cross and He drank to fulfil what was written in Psalms 69:21 "they gave me a gall and a vinegar to drink" after drinking He declared "it is finished" meaning it is fulfilled.

Also, remember that Christ had used the words "if this cup will pass over me" speaking about the unpleasant drink He would have on the cross which was symbolic of His sufferings. The Prophets already witnessed to this thousands of years before Christ came. The death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus gave birth to a new and better world—it took humanity from the unreasonable stone age to a better and civilized age and order.

When Isaiah prophesied that God will do a new thing, it was fulfilled when God Himself came to the earth in the likeness of man in order to save man from the old ways and to establish the new life in Christ.

Much more, it was fulfilled when Christ Jesus who is the true God hung on that cross for the sins of the world. It was His death that brought in the new world, a better and civilized order where man is free from curses, darkness, diseases, sicknesses and ignorance.

The works of God were completed when Jesus said it is finished and died on the cross. This changed the face of the world forever. For example, today's date is the 10th day of November, 2025 years after the death of Christ Jesus (2025AD) because the whole system of the world believed that Christ Jesus walked through this earth and He died for the sins of the world.

Putting new wine into new bottles is necessary to preserve both the wine and the bottles. This expound more on the word of God in the book of Isaiah which says "Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old."

Now we know that the old is the enemy of the new. Therefore if you must see new things happen with you, you have to forsake the old. You want to have results better and different from what you have been having? Then, you have to change your approach, change your old ways and seek for new methods that work with the place and time that you are in.
