MARRIAGE CRISIS
Text: Genesis 3:9-13
Crisis is a situation in which something or someone is affected by one or more very serious problems. It is seen naturally as undesirable and wanted. It came into the first marriage that God ordained and seems to have been around ever since.
The existence of crisis is not the issue, but how it is handled. Crisis is not always a bad thing as it sometime brings the best out of us. To handle a crisis one needs to have an idea of its cause.
Example of Causes of Marriage Crisis
1. Unmet Expectations
2. Absence of God in the Relationship
3. Lack of Effective Communication
4. Pressure of Life on both or either of the partners.
5. Loss of Attraction

Handling the Marriage Crisis
In order to handle marriage crisis effectively, you need to understand God's mind about marriage.

Husband and wife need to appreciate the marriage covenant which is higher than ordinary agreements. God is a witness to every proper marriage vow and an active witness too. You must determine to please God by keeping your home intact no matter how you feel. Also realize that you are the best person to handle whatever crisis you face. If you can identify the cause of the crisis you are half-way towards it resolution.

There are least THREE parties involved in any crisis.
1. You
2. The Devil
3. What or who the devil used.

You should deal with the devil first before YOU and What or who the devil tries to use. In other words, prayer should precede all activities. One important key to handling marriage crisis is effective communication between the couple. The devil has little chance. There is no crisis that cannot be resolved with improved communication, when we are one we can surmount all things including crisis. Genesis 11:6

Father destroy every plan of the enemy concerning my marriage in Jesus name

I destroy every form of crisis in my marriage.

Father let there be peace in my home in Jesus name.

Text: Proverbs 22:6
" Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it"
The mother is queen of her household. She has in her power, the moulding of the children's characters that they may be fitted for the higher, immortal Life. She should awake to the fact that her influence and examples are affecting the character and destiny of her children and in view of her responsibility, develop a well-balanced mind and a pure character, reflecting only on the truth. She will ever be wide awake to discern the dangers that surround her children. She will keep her own soul in a pure, holy atmosphere; she will regulate her temper and principles by the word of God and will faithfully do her duty. Living above temptations which will always assail her. The perception of children is quick and they discern patient, loving tones from the impatient, passionate command, which dries up the moisture of love and affection in the hearts of children. The Christian mother will not drive her children from her presence by fretfulness and lack of sympathizing love.
