WORD FOR THE DAY
Don’t Give Up on Your Place of Planting
Chris Laima
Giving up and running away from church and responsibility is often not the wise option.
Staying, enduring, and fighting to the end is.
God is aware of your trials, disappointments, and challenges. You said He called you into ministry and service—has God suddenly changed His mind?
Certainly not.
Romans 11:29 (KJV)
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
Things may not be going as you expected, but God does not move according to human expectations or timing.
You are a worker.
A leader in your unit or department.
You cannot simply walk away because things became difficult.
Winners do not quit.
Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
God planted you there for a reason.
Your blessings are often connected to your place of planting, service, and perseverance.
Many people abort their harvest because they leave too early.
Going to Egypt during famine may appear wise in the flesh, but sometimes it only introduces unnecessary complications—just as Hagar entered Abraham’s life with consequences that lasted generations.
