GLORY RESTORATION
When God Says It

"Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven."" Exod.17.14

Israel on their way from Egypt to Canaan, the promised land, came to Rephidim where they were thirsty, weak, and without water. Here the Amalekites came to fight against them. While Moses went to the mount to pray with Aaron and Hit, Joshua defeated them on the battle field. God's wrath was so intense that He vowed more than defeat, He must completely wipe their memory from the earth.

Saul was made king many years after Joshua and the judges, God did not forget. Saul was commanded to wipe them away completely. He failed. Later at his death point, an Amalekites is still found. Man failed but God will not fail nor disappoint himself.

You can search and see that today, there is no human trace of Amalekites nor place. What God say He will do, He can't forget, and man's failure, delay, and chances cannot deny His word. His words are so highly dependable, and so assuring sure as eternal for for our confident trusting.

Today what no man could do, Jesus has fulfilled by nailing sin completely on the cross and perfecting obedience on the cross for us. Our sin completely forgiven and forgotten. It's power so shattered and scattered never to recollect. It's judgement permanently cancelled. Oh, victory and rest is given to us; rest, peace, and joy is our possession now and forever through Christ our Lord and Savior. Glory to God.

Believe every of God's word and honor His words at all times in every circumstances.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, help me to always believe you in all your words, honor, find joy and satisfaction in it through Christ our Lord. Amen.

GLORY RESTORATION
Hold Unto Christ Alone

"You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace". Gal.5.4

There were some Jews who went to Galatian believers with a different Gospel and Paul was writing to correct the wrong. Paul was clear on it. "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified". Gal.2.16

To him, to attempt to be justified by law is to become estranged from Christ. Such who after salvation through faith have turned to seek to find Justification by the law have "fallen from grace".

To fall from grace is to start a journey you can't end. I ask that you keep your eyes on Christ who died on the cross for your forgiveness and righteousness by His blood. Keep "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith". Heb.12.2

PRAYER: O Lord, I put my hands in your hands. Hold my trust in the grace through Christ and let my faith never turn away from Jesus my only Savior.

GLORY RESTORATION
Giving Glory to God for Your Salvation

"And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work". Rom.11.6

The apostle Paul, the apostle of grace has been very clear on the way of salvation and life in the kingdom here on earth. There are two path to seek life in Christ and each must and can only be followed at the expense of the other. You can't seek salvation by the two at the same time.

In the background, Paul stated, "For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, "The man who does those things shall live by them."" Rom.10.5

On the other hand he said, "For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."" Rom.1.17

So we have the way of righteousness according to the law which is based on ones personal works before God. There is also righteousness which is according to faith and which is based on the finished work of Christ in His suffering, death and resurrection. On one hand is what you do and on the other hand is what Christ has fulfilled for you.

Our text today says it is either faith alone or works alone. It's faith plus nothing or works plus nothing. Whoever that may find it through works have glory to self but who finds it through faith in Christ can only give glory to God in Christ Jesus.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". Eph.2.8-9

Would you boast of your salvation or give glory to God for the free offer of His righteousness and salvation.

PRAYER: O Lord God, I give you all glory for your glorious offer of salvation through Christ Jesus; what I was too corrupted to achieve in myself.

GLORY RESTORATION
Christ or Circumcision

"And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law". Gal.5.3

Circumcision was first given to Abraham as a sign of the covenant with God. "And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you". Gen.17.11.

A sign is not the real thing but after Moses, it became a foundational matter in the law. To be circumcised was a submission to keep all the laws of Moses.

The law came by Moses and by Jesus grace through faith. We now have two ways to find justification before God. It is either by keeping the laws (which is impossible) or by receiving the Grace of God in Christ Jesus which is possible by just believing. Glory.

Paul wrote in our text today that one has to choose one way which must be followed through to the perfect end - Faith or the law. Here is the matter. "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them. But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God". Gal.3.10-11

Faith in Christ is the real matter. "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love". Gal.5.6. Choose Christ, believe and continue believing in Him alone. "the just shall live by faith." Gal.3.11

It is by Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, for God's glory alone according the scriptures alone.

PRAYER: Gracious Lord, help my faith and hold my faith in Christ alone forever in Jesus name.

GLORY RESTORATION
Not I but Christ

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me". Gal.2.20

Our salvation is initiated, processed and perfected in Christ. To be in Christ is to believe Him as the one God chose and ordained to die for our forgiveness and righteousness. He is the one is the answer to the guilt, power, and consequences of sin.

Paul in the book of Galatians has argued clearly that justification is not by the law, circumcision, nor works of our self righteousness. The Jews who received the law could not perfectly keep the law and those who attempt to be justified by law must be ready to fulfill all the law without fail by an iota. Something beyond human.

Good news is Christ and Him crucified in our place so that all the righteous requirements of the law are fulfilled for us in Christ.

This requires just our believing and it becomes our own. To such as believe, they have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer them who live, but Christ living His life in them. To believe, Christ is made manifest.

May this truth not be cheapened in your heart. Hang your faith on Christ, His suffering, death and resurrection for you alone. In faith let Him live and manifest in your life.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thanks for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ for my forgiveness and righteousness. I submit my life to you today and ever in Jesus name. Rev Mne Adue

GLORY RESTORATION
What Handles Your Night

"At the evening sacrifice I arose from my fasting; and having torn my garment and my robe, I fell on my knees and spread out my hands to the LORD my God". Ezra.9.5

There is something I am still studying and today I share so we can study together. However, it has been an established practice particularly in the Old Testament tradition.

On mount Carmel, Elijah waited until the time of the evening sacrifice. Here, we see Ezra sat and waited until the time of evening sacrifice. After the rebuilding of the temple, Ezra learnt the people had defiled themselves with the foreign women. All that trembled at the word of God joined him.

"Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel assembled to me, because of the transgression of those who had been carried away captive, and I sat astonished until the evening sacrifice". Ezra.9.4

Why wait until evening sacrifice? There were daily sacrifices instituted by God, morning and evening. From Genesis we have it "So the evening and the morning were the first day". Gen.1.5. The Jewish day, started counting from evening.

From the Genesis through the above accounts, light follows the night. When night comes, the day is on the way. Go to God and handle your night so that by day you have your joy and breakthrough. When night comes as an experience, never fret away from God.

The evening time is your season of encounter. Arise and take advantage. God visits for fellowship at the cool of the day. "And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, ... the LORD God among the trees of the garden". Gen.3.8

You can have your time of meeting with the Lord. Be regular, faithfully committed to it. Meet your God. For Jesus, it was early in the morning before daybreak. When is your time?

PRAYER: O Lord, help my daily fellowship with you in Jesus name.

GLORY RESTORATION
Possessing your Possession

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints", Eph.1.17-18

Paul in this scripture shares one of his ceaseless prayers for the church and himself. Considering the scripture here, it echoes the personal resolve of Paul in PHP. 3:10. "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death", Phil.3.10

Also, it is his uncompromising determination to preach nothing but Christ and Him crucified for our salvation.

"For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power". 1Cor.2.2-4

Until you receive knowledge of what Christ has fulfilled by His suffering, death and resurrection, the riches and blessings of the gospel cannot be experienced in your life. This knowledge is only possible by the spirit of revelation, illumination that enlightens our eyes of the heart to understand the gracious provisions of Christ that has become our inheritance.

We need the spirit to see and hear Jesus from the pages of the Bible so we can believe to possess and to preach the same gospel.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, fill me with your Spirit that I may know more and more of Christ to possess my possession and serve Him with fire in Jesus name.
