One sentence can save a relationship—or destroy it.
Text: Proverbs 18:2 "Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions."

During a meeting, everyone spoke at once trying to prove their point. Nothing was solved. Later, one quiet person listened carefully, understood the issue, and offered a simple solution that resolved the conflict.

Wisdom listens before speaking. Many problems grow because people are eager to talk but slow to understand.

Before responding today, pause and listen carefully. Seek understanding before offering your opinion.

Jesus listened to people, understood their needs, and spoke words of truth and grace. Following Christ means learning to listen with love.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, give me a listening heart and wise words In your precious name. Amen.

Sometimes your breakthrough begins when you stop looking down.

A struggling student almost gave up on school. One conversation with a mentor changed everything. What he needed was not money but direction.

Peter told the lame man, "Look at us." Before the miracle happened, the man's attention had to change. God often gets our attention before He changes our situation.

Remember that God wants our attention.
Faith listens before it receives. Hope grows when we focus on Christ.

Today instead of focusing only on your problems, focus on God's promises.

You cannot see the sunrise if you keep looking at the ground.

Prayer:
Lord, help me keep my eyes on You in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
