*Apostle AYO BABALOLA did 40 days dry Fast for a couple of times when he was alive.

*ARCHBISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA pray-fasted

*Dr. D.K OLUKOYA also fasted for 40 days without food during his early days in Ministry...and presently he does not take breakfast until it's 2pm.

*Daddy E.A ADEBOYE told us that he could count how many times he eats in a year

*Apostle JOHNSON SULEIMAN has done 14 days dry fast, no food, no water...and some times he even forgets that he hasn't eaten for a whole day.

*Dr. PAUL ENENCHE has also fasted for 14 days, no food, no water....

*While our Fathers took their time to pay the Price to gain spiritual STATURE....My generation is busy running around for impartation.
We're always looking for a shot cut to everything.

Well, I'm not telling you to embark on a 40 days or 14 days fast...they did it out of Hunger and Burden, not out of competition.

FRIENDS
if you must become relevant in this kingdom, if you must make impact, and become a voice to your Generation, then you must be ready to PAY the PRICE.

If you don't FAST, your life won't go FAST.

FAST now, FEAST later.

PRAY now, PLAY later

ENDURE the PROCESS now, and ENJOY the PROGRESS later.

WHAT We SAY AFTER PRAYER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PRAYER

— Bishop David Oyedepo reveals

The presiding bishop of Living Faith Church, which is also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has warned his members against the misuse of their tongues.

In a video on the Winners Chapel verified page, the man of God said that the misuse of the tongue has brought different evils to Christians. He specifically said, "What we say after prayer is more important than the prayer."

He said that answers to prayers are determined by the attitudes believers display through their mouths. While making allusion to the story of Caleb and Joshua, Oyedepo said that out of all the spies, it was only Caleb and Joshua that were exempted because they obeyed the word of God.

He further said that they can conquer their enemies through the words of their mouth. He also said that any negative words used by believers would stand against them. He said all this at the mid-week service.

DON'T MAKE A WRONG CHOICE.
_By Gbile Akanni

While in our youth days, after our graduation from the university, we were posted for service. A vibrant Christian Brother and l reported at our service centre. Not long after our arrival, some people organised a welcome party for NYSC (Corpers), where we were both invited. Immediately, l said ‘’NO’’, we’re God’s children, we don’t attend worldly parties. They replied, ‘’you are S.U, you are old-school, you are swegbe’’. At this junction my friend couldn’t take a stand for the Lord. He made a choice. He said to me, Bro Gbile please let’s not do so, let’s attend, it’s just a party nothing more. But l insisted on my decision.

So, he honoured their invitation. According to him, seated at the dancing hall, he was offered a bottle of alcohol. He rejected it and demanded for a bottle of Malt. While he was drinking, a lady walked up to him and said, ‘’how can you a man be drinking malt? Even me, a girl could finish a bottle of Gulder’’ he became ashamed. For the first time in his life, he requested for a glass of alcohol. To shorten the long tragic story, just a glass of beer took him away from Christ. Every effort l made to restore him to the faith was to no avail.

Many years later, l saw him, hardly could l recognise him. He was so haggard and battered. His life was a mirage. His marriage ruined, and destiny shattered. Then he looked at my face and said, ‘’Bro Gbile l envy you. What you are now is what l could have been, but look at where l am today. I wish l could reverse the choice l made’’ Then he stood weeping profusely. Though l prayed and restored him to Christ, but the lost ground and the wasted years he never recovered. Not too long he died.

I believe this is why the Holy Spirit has strongly laid it on my heart to reach the youths at this end of the age. Though your destiny is precious and very bright, but it is contested. The ground the devil wins in your life today is where he will pitch his tent tomorrow. Now l see Jesus the mighty warrior, with all his power and might ready to save you, but it seems the enemy is saying, you are old enough to choose for yourself. The choice to win or lose is yours. In order to be victorious in the battle for the young, you must accept Jesus into your heart NOW THAT YOU ARE YOUNG.

THE HONOURABLE WAY TO LEAVE A CHURCH OR MINSTRY TO START YOUR OWN.

There's no church that wants her pastors or ministers to leave.

It's not always a good feeling when pastors migrate from their parents churches to join another or to start their own church even if it's the perfect will of God.

No church can wax strong if the ministers raised keep leaving.

It weakens the church and slows down the fulfilment of kingdom mandate.

The Catholic church is what it's today because her priests almost never leave the mission.

If you ever hear of any, then the priest leaves to get married but never to start an independent Catholic church.

And this too is rare.

It takes a great deal of sacrifices of time, training and finances to make effective pastors.

Hence, leaving hurts the parent church.

That said, ministry is people business and there's a limit to which you can control their aspirations.

Morever, some might feel the geniue leadings of God to begin their own perculiar kingdom expression.

Others will be forced to leave by crisis.

And some will be self led thinking they will be 'more successfull' on their own.

Whatever the reason for leaving, there's a standard biblical way rooted in love to move on into your own or another ministry:

1. When serving in a ministry and you feel led to move on, the first thing to do is to prayerfully inform your Senior pastor or Leader immediately.

This is important for the following reasons:

a. You came to the church with all manner of revelations and convictions to work and this creates expectations. Your early disclosure will help erase future expectations from you.

b. To prepare leadership for your imminent transition so that your departure will not impede the work of God.

2. After informing your spiritual leader, give him time to digest the information and make his decision.

This might take a month, six month, a year and even more but be patient and let him be the one to release you.

He that believes shall not make haste.

Most spiritual leaders will like to subject your leading to the test of the Spirit and time.

The other time, one of the men that works with Bishop David Oyedepo closely told him of a new leading to begin his own work but Bishop kept quiet on him for almost three years.

It was becoming a great concern to his young and impulsive mind when one day Bishop called him telling him that he actually heard God, prayed for him and gave him some good money to begin the work.

You might want to leave with the good will of your leader.

3. Be courageous to begin from the scratch.

Do not move to start the new work with disciples and members of the church your are leaving.

It will hurt the leadership of the place and not so good spiritual energy will be released towards you.

Moving people from one church to another is not kingdom expansion but kingdom rotation.

4. Try as much as you can not to plant your new work in the same city with your former church and if you must then go to an entire different area of the city.

This avoids unecessary bickerings as the church no matter how spiritual still has the human side to it.

5. Resist the temptation of bad mouthing your former ministry inorder to justify your leaving. It's not necessary.

Do not muddy the water you drank from.

6. Resist the temptation of raising partners from your parent church to finance your new work.

They are not your people. God will send your your own Givers if He truly sent you.

Making demands on the money of the members to fund your vision is fighting the income of the parent church.

7. Follow peace with your former ministry as long as it's within your power and accord them great honour for raising you and giving you the opportunity to test your calling.

All this is important to help cure the bottled up anger, bitterness and regret that lurks in the heart of many christian leaders who feel used, betrayed and stabbed by surbodinates.

May God bring peace among leaders of His Body on earth.
