30TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (YEAR A)

HAPPY SUNDAY, PEOPLE OF GOD! ✝️❤️

Our love for God is not measured only by the prayers we say, but also by the love we show to others.

What is the value of speaking about God's mercy when we refuse to forgive? What is the meaning of our worship if we turn away from those who need our help?

Sometimes, the person we overlook is the very person through whom God is inviting us to show His love.

May our Christianity go beyond words and become visible in our kindness, compassion, and forgiveness.

Lord, teach us to love You through the people You have placed in our lives. Amen. 🙏

*WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 2026*
*Theme: One in Christ, United in Mission*

Happy Mission Sunday!!!

Today the Holy Mother Church calls us to renew our missionary zeal and proclaim the Gospel with joy, love and generosity.

One in Christ: Jesus prayed that we may be one (Jn 17:21). Without unity in our families, parishes and communities, our Christian witness is weak. Let us promote reconciliation and keep Christ at the centre of our lives.

United in Mission: Mission is not for priests and religious alone. Every baptized person shares in the mission of evangelization. Unity is not uniformity, but bringing our different gifts together to make Christ known. Let us avoid division and unhealthy competition.

Mission to Love. Love is the heart of mission. Missionaries who leave home to serve in difficult places need our prayers and support. Your prayer, your small contribution, your witness of a good Christian life, all help to spread the Gospel, especially to the poor.

Let us be one in Christ, united with one another, and united in spreading God's love. May the Holy Spirit unite the Church, strengthen missionaries and make us instruments of peace.

Amen.

Pray, Support, Participate and Share Christ's Love
Happy Mission Sunday!!!

Gospel: Matthew 22:1–14

Gospel Reflection: God Has Invited Us, Are We Ready?

In today's Gospel, Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a king who prepares a wedding banquet and invites his guests. Sadly, many reject the invitation because of their personal interests.

God continues to invite us into His presence, but accepting His invitation requires a sincere heart and a life that reflects His will. Let us not be Christians by name only, but true followers of Christ in our words and actions.

May we respond faithfully to God's invitation and prepare our hearts for His heavenly Kingdom. Amen. 🙏

Gospel of the Day (Luke 9,57-62)

As Jesus and His disciples were proceeding on their journey someone said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."
Jesus answered him, "Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head."
And to another he said, "Follow me." But he replied, "Lord, let me go first and bury my father."
But he answered him, "Let the dead bury their dead. But you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
And another said, "I will follow you, Lord, but first let me say farewell to my family at home."
Jesus answered him, "No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the kingdom of God.

🙏 FEAST OF THE ARCHANGELS — ST. MICHAEL, ST. GABRIEL & ST. RAPHAEL 🙏

Today, as we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Archangels, we entrust our parish, our families, and all our parishioners to the powerful intercession of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle and protect us from every evil and danger.

St. Gabriel the Archangel, help us to hear and faithfully respond to God’s call.

St. Raphael the Archangel, accompany us on our journey and bring healing, peace, and restoration to those in need.

May the Holy Archangels strengthen our faith, protect our parish, guide our young people, bless our families, and lead us closer to Christ.

St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
St. Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.
St. Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.

May God grant us His protection and grace, today and always. Amen. 🙏

Happy Feast of the Archangels.

TWENTY-SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (YEAR A)

Readings:
Ezekiel 18:25–28, Psalm 25:4–9, Philippians 2:1–11, and Matthew 21:28–32

Homily: “It’s Not About the Yes You Say — It’s About the Yes You Live”

A father sends his two sons to the vineyard. The first says, “I will not.” Then he changes his mind and goes. The second says, “Yes, sir.” And he stays where he is.

Watch that second son. He is polite, he says the right thing, and he causes nobody any trouble. And the vineyard stays empty.

Jesus says this to the chief priests and the elders, men who had said yes to God their whole lives. Everyone in this church knows how to say yes.
We rarely say no to God.

And here is the trap. The moment we decide to do a thing, part of us feels it is already done. Deciding feels like doing. So we decide again, and the doing never comes.

Paul shows us the one yes that went the whole way. Christ was in the form of God and did not cling to it. He emptied himself, obedient even to death on a cross. That yes kept moving when it cost him everything.

Saint John of the Cross left one line, and the Church put it in her Catechism. At the evening of life, you will be examined in love. Love is something you do.

Ezekiel says it plainly. The man who turns away from his sin shall live. The first son proved it. It is never too late to go.
And notice who our Lord says is going in first. Tax collectors and prostitutes. The people whose whole lives had said no, and who then went. If they enter the kingdom ahead of the professionals, there is hope for all of us.

Conversion isn’t a one-time event that locks in your status. It’s a direction you keep choosing, day by day.
