Idahosa’s grandmother was a witch. She was a member of the Ogboni fraternity. At that time the Oboni dominated Benin city. They told her to warn Benson that he was disturbing their meetings with the kind of prayers he prayed and if he does not change they will k!ll him. Because his grandmother loved him, he called him and told him to calm down “my son you don’t know these people as I know. They will k!ll you if you don’t stop.”
He replied, “Ah, for saying that, the head of the fraternity is already dead.”
His grandmother started crying and said, “No, no, no, don’t talk like that. You are provoking them more.”
Benson firmly said, “I said he has died.” The man d!ed.
Benson said to the people who had gathered for the funeral “Anybody who attempts to bury him will d!e."
When they were about to lower the man, the secretary fell into the grave and d!ed. They sent the grandmother to ask him for mercy and put things right with him.

Among other remarkable things where he acted with faith and boldness is when a boy fell from a three-story building and broke his skvll on the concrete floor. His skvll was cracked, his brain was povring out. They called for Archbishop Benson. When he arrived, he gathered the skull and began to pray in tongues and the skvll joined back
together. There was no need to go to the hospital.

Let's learn to celebrate great people when there are with us, not when there are dead.

Humility has a spiritual attraction!

Humility causes promotion more than hard work, skills, knowledge and all put together!

God always want to promote a humble person.... He giveth more grace... And Grace is power of promotion!
