Topic: Amalekites Invaded
Bible text: samuel 30:1-6
The sin of saul's in not destroying the amalekites resulted in tragedy in reference to God's anointed David while gone from Ziklag the amalekites took advantage of the opportunity to capture and burn ziklag when came back the village had been destroyed and David and people with him have no more power to weep, they exhausted themselves with grief over the capture of their wives and children. The grief was so great that there was talk of mutiny among David's own men.
David encouraged himself in the Lord (what a great leader) great leader often stand alone at the front because they are leaders, they mus must take responsibility for tragedies as this that are mentioned here. Nevertheless great spiritual leaders find theirs encouragement in their relationship with God since those they lead often offer little encouragement.
For this reason, those who would lead God's people must have a strong dependence on God in order that they might find comfort in Him.
Whatsoever your grievance never waits for anybody to encourage you but encourage your self in God words
