Today, the Holy Mother Church celebrates the Presentation of the Lord, a solemnity held 40 days after the Nativity of the Lord.
According to the Law, the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph brought Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem to present Him to God, where they encountered the righteous Simeon and the Prophetess Anna, who proclaimed the Messiah's identity.

Celebrating a life of faith and service! 🎉

A Retirement and Birthday Thanksgiving Mass was held on 13th of December to commemorate Mrs. Ezinne Okolie Helen's milestone birthday and honor her dedicated service in the civil service. As the Vice Chairman of the Parish Council, her leadership and commitment to faith have been truly inspiring.

The Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, led the celebration, joined by family, friends, and well-wishers. Notably, Mrs. Okolie was honored with a Papal Blessing and Birthday recognition from the Pope himself during the latter stages of the mass.

“Behold, I am the handmaid of the lord; Let it be to me according to your word”

Today the holy mother church celebrates the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of our blessed Virgin Mary. It reminds us that God's plan unfolds in unexpected ways. Mary's unhesitant “yes” to God's call made possible the miracle of Jesus birth. May her example inspire us to trust God's promises, even when faced with impossibilities. Nothing is impossible for God!
