Heb.11.1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb.11.2 - For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Heb.11.3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Heb.11.5 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb.11.6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb.11.7 - By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Heb.11.8 - By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Heb.11.9 - By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb.11.10 - For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb.11.11 - Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Heb.11.12 - Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
Heb.11.13 - These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Heb.11.14 - For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
Heb.11.15 - And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
Heb.11.16 - But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

TOPIC: SPIRITUALITY IN CHRIST JESUS
INTRODUCTION
Spirituality is quite different from religiosity in Christ. Jesus did not come to strengthen the religions of the Jews or to reform it (John 1:16-17). He did not come to establish religion but to introduce a new and living way (Hebrews 10:20). He came to give to all that believe in Him the life and nature of God (John 3:16, 2 Peter 1:4).

LESSON EXPOSITION
- *Living by Faith*: Spirituality in Christ is living by faith in the Word of God in Christ (Galatians 2:20). It is trusting in God's promises and living a life that is guided by His Word.
- *Walking in the Spirit*: Spirituality in Christ is living and walking by the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:25). It is being led by the Spirit and living a life that is characterized by the fruit of the Spirit.
- *Righteousness in Christ*: Spirituality in Christ is living in the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). It is living a life that is pleasing to God and walking in His righteousness.
- *Holiness and Sanctification*: Spirituality in Christ is living in holiness and sanctification (Hebrews 12:8-9, 1 Thessalonians 4:7). It is living a life that is set apart for God's purposes and walking in purity and holiness.
- *Meekness of Wisdom*: Spirituality in Christ is living in the meekness of wisdom (James 3:17). It is living a life that is characterized by humility, gentleness, and wisdom from above.

CONCLUSION
May we examine our lives and ensure that we are living a spiritual life in Christ. May we seek to worship God in spirit and in truth, and may we live a life that is pleasing to Him.

PRAYER POINTS
1. *By the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord, help me to live a life that is born of faith and guided by Your Word*.
2. *By the power of the Holy Spirit, Father, enable me to walk in the Spirit and live a life that is characterized by the fruit of the Spirit*.
3. *By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to live a life that is pleasing to You and walking in Your righteousness*.
4. *By the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord, sanctify me and enable me to live a life that is set apart for Your purposes*.
5. *By the power of the Holy Spirit, may Your Word be my guide and my strength, enabling me to live a life that is pleasing to You*.

BLESSING
I decree and declare that you are living a spiritual life in Christ, and that God's presence is guiding, directing, and protecting you. May you experience His love, joy, and peace in abundance.
