CINEMATIC SCRIPTURE SERIES(PSALM 121:1-4)

God does not sleep. His watch over you never ends.

When you are tired, uncertain, or afraid of what tomorrow may bring, remember: “He who keeps you will neither slumber nor sleep.” — Psalm 121:3–4 (NRSV)

There are moments when life makes us feel as though we are walking on a difficult and uncertain path. We may not know what lies ahead, and sometimes even the people we trust cannot always be there for us.

But there is One who never sleeps.

The God who watches over you in the daylight is the same God who keeps you through the night. When your strength fails, His protection remains. When you cannot see the way forward, He is already ahead of you.

Do not be afraid. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Your Keeper is awake. 🙏❤️

THE ROOM OF SELF-IMPROVEMENT

The largest room on earth is the room for self-improvement.

Never become so comfortable with who you are that you refuse to grow. There is always something within us that can be corrected, refined, strengthened, or transformed.

Instead of constantly telling people, “Accept me the way I am,” ask yourself, “What can I do to become a better version of myself?”

Self-improvement does not mean that you are worthless as you are. It means you recognize that you are capable of becoming better.

Correct your mistakes. Learn from your failures. Improve your character. Grow in wisdom. Be willing to listen, change, and become better.

You may not be perfect today, but you should never stop becoming better.

CINEMATIC SCRIPTURE SERIES (SIRACH 11:21) - EPISODE 11

DON’T BE DISTRACTED BY THEIR SUCCESS — TRUST GOD’S TIMING.

What if the reason you haven't seen your breakthrough yet is simply because God is preparing it for the right moment?

Don't envy the success of those who seem to be flourishing while you are still struggling. Keep working. Keep trusting. Keep doing what is right. Your present situation is not necessarily your final destination.

Sirach reminds us that God can make things change suddenly. What takes years to build can sometimes change in a single moment when God decides to act.

Your season may be closer than you think. Don't give up. 🙏

HAPPY SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY INTO HEAVEN.

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on today, August 15, 2026, the Church professes that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was taken body and soul into the glory of Heaven. The Bible does not give a detailed narrative of Mary's death or assumption; rather, the belief developed within the Church's ancient tradition, particularly through early Christian reflections on Mary's unique holiness and her intimate participation in the life of Christ. By the 5th–6th centuries, celebrations of Mary's Dormition (falling asleep) were already established in the Christian East, and the feast gradually spread throughout the Church.

Through the centuries, the belief in Mary's bodily glorification became deeply rooted in Catholic liturgy, theology, popular devotion, and the teaching of saints and theologians. The doctrine was not based on a newly invented teaching but was understood as a truth handed down and progressively clarified within the Church. After receiving petitions from bishops throughout the world and consulting the Catholic episcopate, Pope Pius XII solemnly defined the doctrine on November 1, 1950, in the Apostolic Constitution Munificentissimus Deus: “The Immaculate Mother of God, the ever-Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.”

Thus, August 15 celebrates not merely the end of Mary's earthly journey, but the fulfillment of God's grace in her—the Mother of Christ sharing, in a unique way, in the glory of her risen Son. The Assumption is also a sign of hope for the Church: what God accomplished in Mary points toward the destiny promised to all who belong to Christ.
