CINEMATIC SCRIPTURE SERIES (MATTHEW 11:28-29)
“COME TO ME… AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOUL.” — Matthew 11:28–29
When the burdens become heavy and the journey becomes difficult, Jesus does not condemn us—He calls us closer. He invites the weary to come, the troubled to trust, and the burdened to learn from Him.
His invitation is simple: Come to Me. Take My yoke. Learn from Me. In Christ, we discover that true rest is not merely the absence of problems, but the peace that comes from placing our lives in His hands.
Whatever burden you are carrying today, bring it to Jesus. He is gentle and humble in heart.
Matthew 11:28–29 presents one of the most comforting invitations of Jesus. He sees the exhaustion, struggles, anxieties, and burdens carried by humanity, and He does not turn away from us. Instead, He invites us into a relationship of trust and discipleship.
To take Christ's yoke is to willingly walk with Him and learn His way of life. His gentleness and humility teach us that the Christian journey is not about carrying our burdens alone; it is about allowing Christ to accompany us. When the world gives us anxiety, Christ offers peace; when life overwhelms us, Christ offers rest for our souls.
Come to Jesus. Stay with Jesus. Learn from Jesus. Find your rest in Jesus. ❤️🔥
