A call to service is a call to serve not a call to be seen or to show off neither is it a call for fame or to make a name rather it's a call to tame your desires, appetite, lust, pride, it's a call to bring everything to the obedience of Christ because your life becomes a living epistle (the Bible that others read). Jesus said "he that will be the greatest is he that serves.
A call to service is a call to sacrifice. Anybody who's not ready to sacrifice his/her time, energy, money, space, ego etc cannot serve effectively.
It's a call to redefine your purpose in life.
It's a call that affects everything about you, your dressing, your manner of approach, your hunger for God, your social life, your mindset about life and people and every other thing about you.
It's a call to surrender. Your life no longer becomes yours but Christ's
