TOPIC: TAKE CHARGE OF THE SITUATION.

TEXT: Acts 27:1, 7-11, 21-31.

Apostle Paul and some other prisoners were traveling to Rome under a Roman centurion named Julius. When they came to a place called Fair Heavens, Paul perceived in his spirit that the voyage would end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also their lives. He warned the centurion and the owner of the ship and advised that they wait for some time before sailing, but his advice was ignored. (Vs 9-11).

- Hope of survival was stirred up in them when Apostle Paul stood up and addressed the situation. He narrated to them how an Angel of the “God to Whom I belong and Whom I serve” appeared to him (Vs 23). The Angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.” (Vs 24).

Having heard from God, Apostle Paul took charge of the situation, and told them in Vs 25, “Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.” He told them that they must run aground on a certain island Vs 26.

* In any place you are, God has put the people there under your protection cover. You are expected to take charge of everything happening around you in the realm of the spirit.
* Everyone you are working with or travelling with in a vehicle, come under your spiritual covering. Your prayers and declarations cover them because of the grace of God upon your life.
* God has endowed every believer the ability to take charge of every situation and circumstance in his area of jurisdiction (Gen 1:26-28; Mk 16:15-18; Lk 10:19; 1 Jn 4:4).
* You can take charge when you know who you are in Christ, the God to whom you belong and serve.
* You need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit so that you can hear His voice concerning every situation that faces you (Rm 8:14).
* To take charge among the unbelievers, you must be bold to declare the message you receive from God to them.
* You need to demonstrate your faith by doing what they are afraid of. When they saw Paul broke the bread and ate, they were encouraged to eat.
* Openly declare that you believe God and that He will do what He has told you.
* There is always a condition of obedience attached to every promise of God. Vs 31 says, “Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, ‘Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved.” If they didn’t heed the instruction to remain in the ship, they would have died even though God had said there wasn’t going to be any loss of lives.

- You cannot know your authority in Christ Jesus and be afraid of satan, satanic high priests and other agents of darkness. You must exercise your dominion and authority over everything God has created because God made man the god of this world, and not satan who stole it from Adam.
* The ship points to Jesus, and signifies that;
salvation, deliverance, rescue from danger, healing, breakthrough and wellbeing, can only be found in Jesus Christ. This is the reason why you should never fail to share the gospel with those you come in contact with. God has made believers watchmen over the land.

Ezek 3:17-18 says, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel…when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.”

When last did you witness to those around you and urge them to turn away from their sins? Selah!!

(GOD’S BUDGET FOR 2026).

TOPIC: THE YEAR OF SEEING NEW THINGS.

TEXT: Isa 42:9; 43:18-19; Rev 21:3-5.

God has promised to do something for us different from what we have seen before. He said that we are going to have new perspectives, new experiences, and achieve greater things than we had achieved before.

- However on Tuesday 27th, God told me to read Rev chapter 20 so that I can understand Rev 21:1-5, and I did. God said to me, “There is so much strange fire on my altars. Many have turned my church to a place of showcasing human intelligence and wisdom. Many have made it a market place, many have my knowledge but have denied my power! Therefore many are ignorantly heading to hell fire.”
Let me summarize the content of Rev chapter 20 before declaring the budget package.

- Vs 1-10. Satan will be bound for 1000 years, and later be released. When he is released, he will gather his army to make war against the nations of the world. Then God will send fire from heaven and consume all his army. 2Pet 3:7 says that this present world will be destroyed by fire.

- Vs 11-15 describes the white throne judgement where those who didn’t take part in the rapture will resurrect and stand before God to be judged according to what they did with their lives on earth. Books will be opened, and those whose names are not written in the book of life will be thrown into hell fire.
* Don’t be deceived by strange beliefs, doctrines and teachings that are prevalent in these last days, but are not consistent with the Bible. Heb 12:14 says, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”(NKJV). You can’t serve God as you like or in your own terms and still go to heaven.

THE BUDGET.
* Isa 42:9. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare…”
* Isa 43:18-19. “Do not remember the former things,…..Behold, I will do a new thing,…I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
* Rev 21:4-5. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Vs 5. Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new”.
* By our carnal mind, it is very difficult to believe what God intends to do for us this year, but if He said it, we can believe it and declare it over our lives, situations and circumstances.

Can you imagine a situation where there will be no death, no sorrow, no crying, or pain in your life and family. Naturally, this is too good to be true since in the world you will have tribulation as the Lord Jesus said (Jn 16:33).

SUMMARY.
- God called our past experiences “The former things”, and said they have come to pass. Secondly, He said,“ Behold I will do a new thing.”To understand it better, let’s read the AMPC of Isa 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing! (a present continuous tense). Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” This is what God has purposed to do for us this year, and He is doing it now. Wilderness and rivers point to breakthroughs in the areas, humanly speaking, you are not expected to have a breakthrough. But you must believe, perceive and welcome them into your personal life as a direct word from God to you.
* What God is saying is that you must treat the old patterns of events that have happened in your life and family as expired, they have come to an end.
* God is saying that He will stop the spirits of death, sorrow, weeping, crying, pains, hardships and struggling to make it before you progress.
* He is saying that whatever thing that will not happen to us when we get to heaven, will not be permitted to happen to us in 2026. We have been redeemed and delivered from the evils of this world (Gal 1:4).
* God is saying, “I AM MAKING EVERYTHING NEW BECAUSE OF YOU, AND I WANT YOU TO SEE IT AND EMBRACE IT.”
* God says, I am going to make everything that is humanly impossible in your life and family possible for you.
* God says, in 2026, you will have a breakthrough that will elevate you to a place of your wildest dreams.
* God is saying that He’s going to prosper your spirit, soul, physical body and the labour of your hands more than what you had before.

According to 2Cor 4:13, if you believe it, then confess it at all times and in every circumstance you may find yourself this year, and you will have an immediate breakthrough.

Remember, God is faithful and He will do what He has promised. 1Thess 5:24.

PRAYER POINTS.
1. Father, I believe I and my family are going to have a taste of the glory of heaven this year, 2026.
2. I open myself up, spirit, soul and body, and receive every word spoken in this budget into my life and family, in the name of Jesus.
