GLORIOUS WEDNESDAY-
STARTING YOUR DAY AT THE FEET OF JESUS.

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4 7

The peace of God, won for us by Jesus, is like a guard standing watch over our hearts and minds. It's always there, 24/7, ready to protect us from the storms of life. It's a peace that transcends understanding, and is more powerful than any earthly guard. Just as Jesus is always with us, so too is this peace, watching, vigilant, and prepared to guard us in our times of need.

Lets Pray

Lord Jesus, I am so grateful for your constant protection. Your peace is like a guard that stands watch over me, shielding me from harm. Thank you for your unwavering presence in my life, in Jesus's name Amen.

Topic: Open my eyes to my relief.

Text: Genesis 21: 17 - 19

Learn/Memory verse: Gen 21 : 14 "And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink".

Message:

The challenges of life can be so overwhelming and suffocating, making one to lose direction and focus. When the tears becomes so heavy, ability to see is greatly reduced and one can miss the relief God is sending his or her way.

Hagar was in such a situation, having offended her mistress, she was sent away from the family. Stranded in the wilderness and with the bottle of water and bread exhausted, she and her son faced imminent death and starvation and thirst. Hagar was in despair until the angel of God called out to her and comforted her with promises about her son, then he opened her eyes to see a well of water right by the place she was about to die of thirst.

You may have been dealt with by some blows of life, and right now your eyes are so full of tears. looking all around, all you can see is the hopelessness of your situation. But God has promised never to leave nor forsake you.

God will open your eyes to see that relief He has provided for you and it will be within your reach. You will no longer miss out on the opportunities He is sending your way. Receive grace to identify and harness them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Daily confession: I will not miss out on my opportunities again!

Daily prayer: Father, thank you for the relief. I receive it with joy in the name of Jesus Christ!

Tuesday 14th January 2025.

Topic: Rebuild your altar.

Text: 1 Kings 18: 31 - 33.

Learn/Memory verse: 1 Kings 18: 32a "And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD!".

Message:

When the time for the evening sacrifices came, Elijah repaired altar of the Lord which had been broken down, and he took twelve stones according to the number of the tribes of Israel and built a new altar in the name of the LORD. He made a trench around the altar, arranged the wood and cut the ox in pieces and laid it on the wood.

Like Elijah , do we have a scheduled time of prayer and fellowship with God?
We need to repair our prayer altar(personal and family altars), and we also need to raise up an altar unto the LORD wherever else we find ourselves(our office or business area).
Elijah did all these and God answered because he understood and obeyed the principle. This is not about working harder, longer hours, this is about making preparations for God to answer our call.

Are you praying? Are you taking care of your own soul and passionate about your service to Him? These are the core beliefs for some one who wants to be on fire for God. If we are praying, then God is listening, what needs to be done is the work. Even if the wood in our altars are already wet with the world and water logged with cares and worries, God can and is ready to set us a flame again.

Daily confession: My altar is calling you oh Lord!

Daily prayer: Oh LORD, grant me intense thirst and hunger for fresh fire on my altar this day. Thank you JESUS!

🔥In the Name of Jesus, Strengthen me in the power of Your might, O God. Dress me in Your armor so that I can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Topic: Return to the Lord.

Text: Gen 3: 23 - 24.

Learn/Memory verse: Hosea 6:1 "Come , and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up!".

Message:

God had the perfected plan and purpose for man, a life in fruitfulness, multiplication and dominion. A life sponsored by the economy of God. The Garden had been planted, the fruit trees, plants and herbs belonged to man and were created to serve him (Gen 1: 28 - 29).

All he had to do was to dress and keep it (Gen 2:15). But the fall of man took him out of alignment with this purpose of God for him; and the very things created to serve him, turned against him. Rigorous labour and pain were introduced into his life and he lost the life of ease in the Garden. Above all he lost fellowship with his creator God.

Are we living out the purpose of God for our lives? In what ways have our decisions and actions in the past years taken us out of alignment with His purpose for us? until we take steps to realign ourselves with His purpose, every other thing we will engage in will take us further away from Him.

Lets take this season of the new year as a time to reflect, pray, fast, rediscover and realign ourselves to His plans and purpose for us.
It is time to return to the Lord and be healed from the consequences of our past and be introduced into a new life of ease by His grace and favour.

Daily confession: I realign to fulfil the plans and purpose of God for my life this year 2025.

Daily prayer: Lord, I return to you today. Restore me to fellowship with you and your service.

Topic: Do not neglect gathering of brethren. .

Text: Hebrew 10:25

Learn/Memory verse: Psalms133:3 "It is like the dew of Harmon falling on the mountain of Zion. For there the LORD has bestowed the blessings of life forevemore!".

Message:

The word encourages us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This was said as a commandment. Our father knows what happens when we get out of fellowship with other believers.
There are many cases where people let the cares of this world come first and then they quit coming to Christian services and the next thing you know they just slide away from God.
This is not Gods will for us. He has better plans for his children .

But in order for us to enjoy His better plan, we have to follow His precepts, and one very important precept is not to forsake the gathering of brethren.
This is not just Sunday morning church service but whenever your brethren gather to fellowship and you are expected to be there. something happens when we fellowship. We share the very life of God.

Daily confession:
I will never neglect gatherings of believers.

Daily prayer: Lord, help me to fellowship with brethren so that I can enjoy the life of God in Jesus name.

Topic: Focus your eyes on Him.

Text: Matt 14:30

Learn/Memory verse: Matt 14: 30 "But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, "Master,save me!".

Message:

Peter, having overcome his fear of Jesus, decided to walk on the water,too! He was wise enough to wait until Jesus told him it was all right to try. Then he climbed over the side of his boat to go to Him. As soon as you get over your fear of the supernatural by recognizing and acknowledging Gods Lordship over everything in heaven and on earth, you will want to experience that power for yourself.

I believe, for example, that Jesus could do extraordinary things. Not only could He heal sick people, He could keep His temper, be unselfish, and always say the right thing.
Can I do what Jesus did? Can I stride over the circumstances of my life in triumph? Can I walk over the waters of worries and fears? Yes, if I keep my eyes on Jesus.

To overcome all the storms and challenges of this year 2025, fix your eyes on Jesus.

Its a matter of keeping your eyes on Jesus, not on the storm. And remember, if you begin to sink, cry out to Him. He will put out His hand and save you. Its important to Him that you succeed!!

I will daily fix my eyes on you Oh Lord Jesus.

Daily prayer: I receive grace to live a life of victory and triumph in Jesus name. Amen.
