"BROKEN AGREMENT"
2Kings 6 ; 31 ; 33.
May God kill me if I don't execute Elisha this very day, the King vowed. Elisha was sitting in his house at a meeting with the elders of Israel when the king sent a messenger to summon him. But before the messenger arrived Elisha said to the elders, this murderer has sent a man to kill me, when he arrives, shut the door and keep him out, for his master will soon follow him. While Elisha was still saying this, the messenger arrived followed by the king. The LORD has caused this mess, the king stormed. Why should I expect any help from Him.

WHY MUST ELISHA DIE ?
May God kill me if I don't kill Elisha this very day, the king vowed. Was Elisha the problem of Israel? What was the sin of Elisha?
The Bible says, that king Benhadad of Syria mustered his entire army and besieged Samaria, and a result there was a great famine in the city. It was the great famine that caused two women in the city of Samaria to agreed eating there sons, later one of them refused killing her son for food.

CONVENANT OF BLESSINGS AND CURSES.
Israel refused to obey God's instructions, it resulted to famine, because God had warned them earlier. In Deut. 28 ; 1 ; 68, contains the blessings and curses that was agreed by Israel. Israel sinned by rejecting God's leadership it resulted to famine and trouble of siege. It was predicted in the book of Deut.28 ; 47 ; 57 that if Israel fails to obey the law of God, the following things would happened to them.
*The LORD will bring a Nation from far that have no respect for their young or old.
*They will devour your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed.
*They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land.
*Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters.

DON'T BREAK THE HEDGE.
Ecc. 10 ; 8b says, .........whoso breaketh an HEDGE, a Serpent shall bite him. Let's re-examine ourselves if we still with Almighty God. Rejecting God's law can lead to suffering, siege and trouble in our lives, homes, communities, cities and Nations.

THE STORY CHANGER.
However, Almighty God who is rich in mercy decides to change the ugly situation into a beautiful one by providing to the Nation Israel with food, clothes, horses, money etc.
Whatever you are going through now, JESUS CHRIST THE STORY CHANGER will change your STORY HE will make you smile again as you turn to Him as your LORD and personal saviour.

GREATER WORKS SHALL YOU DO.
John 14 ; 12 ; 14.
LORD JESUS told the disciples that he that believe in HIM, the work I do shall you do even greater works shall you do. Why was HIS perspective so full? Because HE had admiration before Him. LORD JESUS had great admiration before Him when HE saw the disciples. HE knew HE had material that would bring out what would prove to be real satisfaction to the world and to Heaven.

The glorified, trained, wonderfully modified, and then again glorified positions of these fishermen were surely ideal places in which to be. What were the disciples? For one thing they were unlearned like me Rev. Evangelist Eziokwubundu Chidiebere but Almighty God taught them. It is far better to have the learning of the Spirit than anything.

They were ignorant men, HE enlarged them.
They were beside themselves because they had been touched with divine life. If the Most High God touches you, you will be beside yourself. As long as you hold your own, the natural and the Spiritual will be mixed, but if you ever jump over the lines by the power of the new creation, you will find HE has gotten a hold of you.

Divine wisdom will never make you foolish.
Divine wisdom will give you a sound mind.
Divine wisdom will give you a divine touch.
Divine life is full of divine appointment and equipping, and you cannot be filled with the power of God without a manifestation. It is my prayer today that we would understand that to be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with manifestation, the glory of the LORD being in the midst of us, manifesting HIS Divine power.

LORD JESUS knew that these people HE had before Him were going to do greater things than HE had done.
How could they do them ?
None of us is able.
None of us is capable.
But our incapablity has to be clothed with HIS Divine ability, and our helplessness has to be filled with HIS POWER of helpfulness.
This is why HE knew that they would do greater things.
HE knew that HE was going away.
And HE is coming back soon amen.

WILL ONLY A FEW BE SAVED ?
Luke 13 ; 22 ; 30.
HE went from city to city and village to village, teaching as HE went, always pressing onward toward Jerusalem. Someone asked Him, will only a few be saved ? And He replied, the door to Heaven is narrow. Work hard to get in, for the truth is that many will try to enter but when the head of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. Then if you stand outside knocking, and pleading, LORD open the door for us, He will reply, I do not know you.

JESUS went from city to city and village to village teaching about the Kingdom of God, someone asked Him LORD, will only a few be saved? He replied, .......many will try to enter and will not be able to. There are questions we must answer, who is among the few that will be saved? And who is among the many that will not be saved ? Am I among the few or many.

WHAT WILL STOP MANY FROM ENTERING INTO HEAVEN.
Matthew 18 ; 1 ; 3 says, About that time the disciples came to JESUS to ask which of them would be greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. JESUS called a small child over to Him and set the little fellow down among them, and said, unless you turn to God from your sins and become as little Children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. This is why many will not enter into Heaven. LORD JESUS CHRIST said, unless you turn to God from your sins and become as little Children........ many have turned to follow God, but have not yet become as little Children. This is what the LORD JESUS meant when He said to Nicodemus "you must be born again". JESUS replied, with all the earnestness I possess I tell you this, unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God John 3; 3.

HEAVENS GATE WILL CLOSE ONE DAY.
Heavens Gate is not permanently open, when the elect's has entered the Gate will be closed, and those that were unable to enter will be locked outside. The bible says, there will be great weeping and gnashing of teeth as you stand outside and see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all the prophets within the Kingdom of God, for people will come from all over the world to take their places. When the Gate of Heaven is closed, no amount of tears can open it, no amount of prayers can open it, your seed of faith, your tithes, offerings and great donations in the Church can never open it.

THE FIRST WILL BE THE LAST.
Luke 13 ; 30 says, indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last. Romans 9 ; 31 says, Well then, what shall we we say about these things? Just this, that God has given the Gentiles the opportunity to be acquitted by faith, even though they had not been really seeking God. But the Jews, who tried so hard to get right with God by keeping His laws, never succeeded. There are so many people that are in the church for over thirty years or above struggling to serve God in the flesh that will not get into Heaven, while those armed rubbers, pr******te, and other sinner's that was despised will be greatly honored in Heaven because they repented genuinely and served God by faith. Make every effort to enter into the the narrow Gate that leads to Heaven. LORD JESUS CHRIST is beckoning on us now to come. Tomorrow may be too late, Heavens Gate may close at any time, don't cry oh had I known in Hell Fire.

Son of dust, he said, I am sending you to the nation Israel, to a nation rebeling against Me. They and their fathers have kept on sinning against Me until this very hour. For they are a hardhearted, stiffnecked people. But I am sending you to give them my message, the message of the LORD GOD. And whether they listen or not, for remember, they are rebels, they will at least know they have had a prophet among them. Ezekiel 2 ; 3 ; 5

John 1 ; 10 ; 12, But although he made the world, the world didn't recognize him when he came. Even his own people, the Jews, he was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive him. But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them.

Prayer is good, prophecy is good, but what matters is the WORD of God. Give proper attention to God's WORD for by HIM everything is created, rejecting HIM may result you sinking into trouble. Allow HIS WORD to take full pre-eminence in your life. Amen.
