_*📖Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be (Romans 4:18).*_

There are times when you’ve done everything you know to do and the situation still seems unchanged. You’ve prayed, stood on the Word and applied the counsel given, yet nothing appears different. That’s the moment many are tempted to yield to discouragement. But that should never be your response; faith never gives up.

The Bible tells us that Abraham, against hope, believed in hope. When there was no natural reason to expect a change, he held on to what God had said. That’s the life of faith. You don’t allow circumstances to sway you or cause you to vacillate; you anchor your confidence in the Word.

Never stagger at the Word of God through unbelief just because the change you seek didn’t seem to happen overnight. Rather, be strong in faith giving glory to God, knowing His Word never fails. Stand your ground and win. The Bible says we’re not of them that draw back; we believe till the end: _*“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul”*_ (Hebrews 10:38-39).

We don’t give up, and we don’t give in. You may find yourself in circumstances that seem resistant or appear unyielding or pressures that suggest you’re at a disadvantage; don’t cower. Hold your ground with the Word. You’re not at the mercy of the conditions or elements of this world; you’re a victor in Christ Jesus.

He already said _*“…in all these things we are more than conquerors…”*_ (Romans 8:37). That’s His Word, and His Word is dependable. It works. But it requires your steadfastness. So lift your head and square your shoulders; refuse to give in to despair. Cheer up; victory is certain: _*“...In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade…”*_ (2 Corinthians 2:14 MSG).

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the power and immutability of your Word in my life. I stand firm in faith, unshaken by circumstances, holding fast to your Word, knowing that I’m always in victory. Your Word prevails in and through me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

_*📖Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).*_

Very early in my life, the Lord set me on course for a life of ever-increasing success and impact. I got acquainted with the Word of God very early in life and I’m forever grateful to the Lord for that. I was born again before I was nine years old and began to preach the Gospel not long after. I started winning my friends to Christ, and shortly after, I began a fellowship. By fifteen, I was already holding crusades. From then on, the journey has been from glory to glory.

When God sets you on course and your mind is stayed on Him, the Word declares that He will keep you in perfect peace because you trust in Him. That peace is the peace of prosperity, a life that continually moves forward.

Psalm 1:3 describes this life clearly: _*“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”*_ This is the result when you give attention to the Word, to shape your life. The result is extraordinary. You’re like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bearing fruit in season. There’s no failure in your life.

I love the way the AMPC describes it in Joshua 1:8: _*“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success."*_ When you give yourself to the Word, you deal wisely and have good success.

What a life; a life built only for success. It’s the result of meditating on the Word; the Word reproduces itself in you. The Word of God is seed. Meditation keeps it rooted in your spirit such that it governs your mentality to only walk and talk the Word. Your life becomes the demonstration of the Word. Hallelujah.

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the power and efficacy of your Word in my life. My mind is stayed on you, and I walk in perfect peace and unending prosperity. I give myself wholly to your Word, meditating on it day and night, and it produces in me a life of continuous success and fruitfulness. My life is the expression of your Word, and I walk in victory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*DIVINE DESTINY*

_*📖For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).*_

Did you know God never created anything without a purpose? For every human being, there’s an earthly destiny and a divine destiny. An earthly destiny is just what it is—earthly. It’s influenced by such factors as who your parents are, where you were born and raised, your friends, relatives, and everywhere you invest time. All these would have an impact on you.

The books you read, the films you watch, and all the information you digest, they shape your natural destiny. But there’s another destiny, the divine destiny, and it supersedes any earthly destiny. With that divine destiny, it doesn’t matter what these other factors are, they’ll not determine what you become. They lose their power to define you. God introduces a higher life that overrides background, limitations, and human circumstances.

For this divine destiny to become your real life experience, God tells you what to do. He gives you instructions and guidance so that the earthly destiny will not rule your life or determine the circumstances of your existence. The Word of God is the instrument by which you’re aligned with that higher purpose.

The Bible reveals that God’s plan is always good and for your good. His plan for you is great. He is great Himself, and He can only raise great men and women. That’s the way it works with Him. He cannot reproduce a failure. He can only reproduce a success. He can only reproduce royalty. So, when you follow His Word and walk in His guidance, the divine destiny becomes your reality, and the earthly influences lose their hold.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for your divine purpose for my life which is higher than every earthly influence. I walk in the light of your Word, guided by your Spirit, fulfilling the destiny you ordained for me. I refuse to be limited by earthly background or circumstances, for I am the product of your greatness and the expression of your will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

WHAT THE GOSPEL TRULY IS

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth… (Romans 1:16).

It’s possible for someone to believe in Jesus and yet not truly understand what the Gospel is. This is why the Apostle Paul, writing to Christians in Rome, said, “I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.” These were Christians, yet he still needed to preach the Gospel to them.

That tells you something profound: the Gospel is more than the mere announcement of Jesus Christ; it’s a revelation that must be understood. Many say they’re preaching the Gospel, but not everything said in the name of Christ is the Gospel. The Gospel has a definite content, a definite power, and a definite purpose.

Paul defines it clearly: “it is the power of God unto salvation.” That means the Gospel isn’t just a message; it is God’s power in operation—His dynamic ability to save, transform, deliver, and establish in righteousness everyone who believes. If you want to experience God’s power, you must understand the Gospel because that’s where His power is revealed.

Then comes the deeper truth: _*“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed… (Romans 1:17). The righteousness of God is unveiled in the Gospel. Until a man understands the Gospel, he cannot truly know God's righteousness. Many desire to be right with God but they don’t understand the Gospel that reveals it.

That’s where we come in. As we preach and teach the Gospel, the righteousness that is of God, one that comes from Him, not from man, is unveiled. This righteousness makes you right with God, gives you boldness in His presence, and establishes you in dominion.

Furthermore, the Bible says this righteousness is revealed …from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith”*_ (Romans 1:17). This means it’s a progressive unveiling. The more you walk in faith, the more this righteousness becomes evident in your life. This is the life of the one who has received this righteousness—a life governed by faith, sustained by faith, and expressed through faith.

So, what is the Gospel? It’s not merely the story of Jesus. It’s not just the announcement of His death, burial, and resurrection. The Gospel is the unveiling of what His death, burial, and resurrection accomplished. It’s the revelation of God’s righteousness: how a man is made right with God, not by works, but by faith. We’ll learn more in our next study.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the Gospel of Christ, which is your power unto salvation. My understanding is enlightened to know the righteousness revealed in the Gospel. I walk in the consciousness of this righteousness and live by faith, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
